<\/p>\nHello again! Up for another flight? Me and my friend flew our digital planes down the west coast of North America towards Mexico, and then Cuba. Also snuck in some Japanese flights inbetween Tijuna and Phoenix’s flight because I was testing out a few add-ons before friend wanted to join.<\/p>\n

Just mimicing the 747-400 that flew over here, but I went under.<\/em><\/p>\n Stopped at San Fransisco to test out a Soviet Tupolev plane (The bear). It was nice until it was coded to be heavier than an elephant. It crashed into the ocean, next to the in-game aircraft carrier. Switched to the F-35 with semi-decent details and then back to my trusty Shinden that Tim Conrad made, Thanks Tim!<\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Changed time to dawn to get a lovely sunrise. <\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Bellyshot of my Shinden and my friend’s Beechcraft flying towards San Diego over a desert.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Nice plane! <\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Was having a race with the firetruck at LAX, I lost. I Should of had night-time to show you \u00c2\u00a0some nice night scenery.<\/em><\/p>\n —<\/p>\n Meanwhile – Back in Ottawa’s CYOW I was testing the Dehavilland Fed-Ex package:<\/p>\n I was simply trying this package out and it flies pretty well. This plane appears to be common at my local airport and it sounds the same as it would when flying by. Also, since I keep getting Fed-Ex’ed I thought it be appropriate to show here as well. It flew nicely from there to Carp (next to the Scotiabank place).<\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Fed-ex Dehavilland being pushed back at CYOW<\/em>.<\/p>\n File if interested: —<\/p>\n -> Returning to the main flight from Los Angeles to San Diego.<\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Lovely shiny lights!<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Leaving San Diego to find a dockyard full of WW2-esque shaped silhouettes. They’re frieghters and cargo ships.<\/em><\/p>\n —-<\/p>\n Stopped at Tijuana to fly around Tokyo area while attempting to spot a certain add-on. It didn’t work so I simply explored unexplored islands from previous flights and Google mapped a few areas to view panaramio images.<\/p>\n -> Here is an example of such Panaramio image of Hachijo Island<\/a>.<\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – JAL flying past towards Haneda.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Viewing Mikura island from afar. <\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Purposely stalling my plane to look back to see where my friend went.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Backtracking to Tokyo and beyond; Friend landing at Miyake island that I have before.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Plane possibly heading to Hawaii or North America (heading east Mainland Asia?)<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Tokyo Bay Aqua line.<\/em><\/p>\n Sorry, but if FSX did have the full skyline my computer would explode. But you can at least see a few famous landmarks while you take-off, land, or explore the area. Checked for Tokyo add-ons but didn’t see any, maybe in payware form?<\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Coming in for a rough landing without ILS assistance. <\/em><\/p>\n I spent about 8 hours installing all the AI packages of nearly every interesting airlines out there for the majority of the areas I may find myself traveling to. In the below image we have ANA, Korea Air, Asiana Air, and JAL on the other side of the terminal (off-screen).<\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – View of airlines at gate at Haneda airport. Also, the further north I went the more snow appeared. Google\u00c2\u00a0Comparison<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Went to land at Sendai only to find myself under a partly cloudy and very snowy weather. <\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Now that’s quite a bit of snow. Took me slightly longer to bring this beast to a stop.<\/em><\/p>\n —<\/em><\/p>\n And we return to our main flight from Pheonix to Puerto Vallarta. The next night would be from from there to Mexico and Cancun. It’s actually neat to see the stars and the moon reflecting on the water in a “lazy” coded manner :P. I ain’t kidding, look at the images and you might just be pleased with what you see.<\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – ATC Fail; As I was taxing I spotted three planes trying to land on the same runway at Pheonix Int. <\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – The moon taking a peek on the east side. And yes, it’s very dark.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Nice bright water reflection. Now that’s quite high above the sea level and weird textures.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Early landing….<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Taxiing to fuel.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Took off while leaving Mexico behind. Was a nice place actually.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Foggy? Cloudy? Had some cross-winds hitting the plane upwards.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Halfway towards Cancun and the weather quickly grew worrisome. <\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Just about there, to Cancun. Very very cloudy, and a bit of wind.<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Runway incoming! Will I make it?<\/em><\/p>\n (Link – MySite<\/a>) – Made it, and just barely too. Drifted halfway down the runway.<\/em><\/p>\n
