I apparently slept through North Korea&#8217;s missile launch, even waking up at around 8:40 AM tiredly (and confused discovering some alerts on my phone. My Mexican Anime friend even having warned me of what has occurred while I was in dreamland, exhausted from the travels the day previous. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day would basically be spent touring in and slightly around the city area of Sapporo taking in the sights and the sounds of the area. I would also end up staying close thanks to how chilly the weather was, even if I had a sweater. In hindsight I should have brought a jacket, or even bought\/rented one. Took this image from either Twitter, or what was sent to me by my Mexican friend warning me of what had occurred in Japan while I was asleep.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once I woke up, caught up on a bit of Azur Lane, washed up I eventually headed out to seek out some breakfast food. One of the reasons is seen in this image, and it&#8217;s the trams.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I came to Sapporo for the Miku Hatsune tram, something I&#8217;m sure only comes during the winter seasons, or at least during Christmas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also came to Sapporo because I felt it was calling out to me, as strange as it is to say. I was mainly going to stay around the Tokyo-Kure area. I even considered Fukuoka for the other Gundam statue down there. Hokkaido kept calling out to me, and especially with Kushiro, from Microsoft Flight Simulator. I also came to Sapporo because it had a slight Canadian aura to it, and for some forecasted cherry blossoms, as noted by Japan media predictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flic.kr\/p\/2peUvUr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53322259077_c37c4ffc5c_c.jpg\" alt=\"20230413_101220\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">&#8211; 624 yen for this meal? I felt weirded out climbing these stairs with how old it appeared. I&#8217;m not saying it&#8217;s bad, it however felt way behind in the years making it a bit sketchy, or at least to me. I kept myself to one side (the wall side) in caution. It became so awkward to the point some teen guys even may have laughed at me, even as I tried hasten my coin-grabbing. Tried to grab all my coins as quickly as possible to allow them to do their thing. They were a cool bunch of folks. I would recommend them. They were kind and polite, even helping me out figuring out the menu. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>After that nice walk for the day I retired to my hotel. I then turned on the TV, turned on my Steam Deck, and played a game called &#8216;Rising World&#8217; for the rest of the night by clearing the terrain in the game. I was exhausted, and my feet were hurting as well (hence the slow walk back to the hotel). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than the fake news BBC Tweets I had a great time. Everything was great about this trip. Even how I was sleeping through all the North Korea alerts, or how I briefly conquered my fear of heights in Sapporo&#8217;s TV Tower. I had a great time pushing my boundaries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I basically accomplished almost everything I desired to do. Sure, maybe I ate too much, but that&#8217;s also because the weather is colder, and I kept screwing up my orders on the side. It was genuinely a great time in Sapporo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, I kept thinking how much closer I am to end my trip.
