Italian Ferrari Festival & Downtown Ottawa Exploration

20250608_143144
– Enjoying a cleaner perspective of the skyline on Sunday, something which was worse on Friday’s strong haze and smoky scenery.

This blogpost covers the day of June 8th, 2025 – Ottawa’s Italian-Ferrari Festival & Downtown Ottawa visit.

I desired to visit the Italian Festival sooner, something which was made impossible by the overly thick wildfire smoke covering the city. The wildfire smoke caused me to feel ill on Friday, leading into Saturday, and on the healthier side on Sunday. It was rough. I had to postpone my Friday and Saturday visit to the Italian Festival, even if I’ve seen a red Ferrari Testarossa roaming around Ottawa the day prior to this one. Was awesome seeing the vehicles with my own eyes, if saddened by the fact they ventured elsewhere, a street further than desired to capture images of.

Sunday had to be the day, and I’m glad it was. I made it my mission to visit the Italian Festival for the 2:30-7:00 timeframe. I needed to see the various Ferrari’s and Italians on display, even if I was worried about the low attendance relating to the wildfire smoke covering nearly the whole of Canada and Ottawa.

– Pokemon GO – Shiny Golett get!

I happily encountered a shiny Golett on the way towards the Italian-Ferrari Festival. Encountered this Golett on the shoulder of Prince of Whales Dr, heading into Heartwells Lock Drive. I had to stop on the side of the shoulder, carefully catch it, and move on towards the intersection to cross the lights. Was a surprisingly lucky get! I also saw a neat vintage open-top vehicle, similar to those iconic Ford Model T vehicles back the day. A modernized version of it.

Sure, I was 30 minutes “late” for the Ferrari display. I still proceeded to venture towards the Italian Festival. I was still gradually making my way there, if in distracted manner.

20250608_150202
– Passing by the Hartwells lock. Very populated, even if its shown nobody was there. I simply got lucky. Everybody around in a 360 degree radius. Was a busy area, one where people were somewhat staring at one another, all the while I was shiny-checking Pokemon into Preston Street.

A random guy decided to converse with me about seeing more Canada Geese, this after having seen me observing these Canadian Geese for a prolonged period of time. He noted there were more baby Canadian Geese further down, something I genuinely made note of. We eventually parted ways. Was genuinely surprised by this conversation. We eventually parted ways.

20250608_150733

It was highly amusing overhearing how other people were coming from the pedestrian wooden bridge side, exclaiming how there are Canada Geese on the NCC trail. How do they get around, what do they do, all in the weird Ottawa naive speaking mannerism. You know, Ottawa city speak female mannerism. Almost Californian valley-girl, yet city speak. For all I know it could have actually been ‘valleygirl’ speak, but I digress.

The point I’m trying to make note of is how I was amused by cyclists were attempting to make their way past these Canada Geese, not trying to intrude, harm, or endanger anyone. The concern, yet city naivety in their voice.

I was also frustrated by all the people hogging the trails on these bikepaths. They prevent other cyclists from overtaking, slowing things down. They clog the whole damn trail. I understand it’s for everybody, and I respect that, but I still end up highly frustrated how people intentionally double-up on one side of the path to intentionally blockade one-way traffic on these trails. It makes me want to intentionally ram into these people for being so selfish. It makes me miss the Japanese way of respect, of curtesy, and behaviour. If Japanese people see any negativity, by cultural behaviour, they attempt to mend that situation as swiftly as possible, something these people on these trails refuse to do.

I’m not going to move! I have the right-of-way.” – Old Lady in 2006~ says, as her and her friends hog the one lane of the trail.

Well screw you too! I miss the Japanese social behaviour of respect. I miss the Japanese! I miss the Japanese! I miss the Japanese! Oh, how I miss the kindness and respect of the Japanese! How I miss the Japanese! They’re far superior to you, and those who hog these NCC trails! 😉
(I digress to a naval topic below, also relating to both Japanese & Chinese, if on a naval topic.)

HMCS Carleton – Falkland Sea Cadets – Naval Gun Display:

I basically came back here, was on the way, to make note of a naval turret used on warships. I had to, for Azur Lane and KanColle purposes. Initially inspired by KanColle, later swapping over to Azur Lane, if still highly interested and curious about anything navy related relating to Canada’s ‘Royal Canadian Navy’. KanColle itself made me highly curious about our Naval Canadian history, and I admire it so. It needs to be remembered, respected, and respectfully portrayed in video games, and etc. It needs to find its way into Azur Lane, and other mediums. Canada needs to be respectfully remembered.

Little Italy – Italian Festival & Ferrari Festival:

Finally arrived back at Preston Street – Little Italy – after years of hiatus. Was a bit awkward navigating my way towards this area, even making taboo cycling mistakes. No harm done, so let’s check out the Italian Ferrari Festival.

20250608_152014
– Little Italy.

Side-note: I’m sure they’re a bit peeved at me from over the years with what I’ve noted over the years because I don’t share destructive Left-Wing values, something which Ottawa has been forced into believing, adopting, and being weird with. Even so, I desired to do things on my own terms, and that’s what I’ve done. I probably chose the wrong year to do so, I still had to make note of any event while I’m aware, active, and in a documenting mood to do so. They used to, if briefly, link to my blog prior to possibly removing my links from their site, something I’m perfectly fine with. I simply desire to be me, and I don’t enjoy awkward traffic more than I can tolerate. I’m simply here for the Ferrari & Italian cars, retro vehicles, etc. That’s all I care about. 😉

It still amazes me how Preston street has all these neat statues on display. Various mini-monuments, artistic displays, a purple bear, and even ‘Bird’ E-Scooters for people to ride around with. I previously made note of this, intentionally skipping out on them this time with how people were standing around to be photographed. I was forced to ignore these sidewalk monuments, if admiring them highly all the same.

The tent was overly populated. Somewhat crowded, making things a bit difficult to snap photos of. Satisfied, I made my way out of the tent to see what else was in the area.

I actually quite enjoy the old-timey feel of Preston street. The neatly designed pubs, bars, and restaurants, some of which also hold that neat Medieval vibe to them. I also spotted another Japanese sushi food joint, a place I may eventually visit with a coworker at a later period of time.

– Ottawa Italian Festival – I took this image for AR related imagery from Pokemon, Azur Lane, and whatever else. Maybe even VRChat. I never made my way to doing such.

Side-note: I recall there being an overly artistic display under the bridge (same bridge seen in above image, leftern-most side) with various Italian motifs and Italian related national displays. The bridge’s underpass was fully sterile, if only with only the standing touristic directional display noting what’s where.

– It appears they altered the Ferrari slightly more.

I was disappointed with the quantity of sports cars in the area. Yes, I was informed after the fact more were not on display because of the haze and smoke from the wildfire blanketing the city between Friday-Sunday, a health and safety issue scaring away the larger group of owners to not display their cars at Preston. That’s fine, that’s fair, and that’s also why I never made my way to the Italian Festival on Friday. I fell ill from breathing and stomach pains tied to breathing issues.

I mean no disrespect to the Festival, I was simply underwhelmed on a very basic level. I now had to make my trip to Preston Street worthwhile, even if it meant going up and down looking for more things to make note of, to document, as trivial as they may be.

– A wild Porsche on display.

As per usual, let’s just say people weren’t as respectful as the Japanese would be. Leaning in, touching, and pretending they own the car. Very disrespectful.

There may have also been an incident at the festival. An ambulance and two serious police trucks were on the scene tending to a certain incident, one I wasn’t privy of finding out. I couldn’t overhear what, and where “something” had occurred, or if it was more of a safety thing.

I had to take a breather in the shade of a tree with how surprisingly warm the day ended up being. 25-30 Celsius forcing me to take a few sips of water from my water bottle. I also viewed Google Maps to guide my way towards downtown Ottawa. If I was this far then I might as well visit downtown Ottawa as well, especially with my BK6M Hitway E-bike. Checked for Pokemon, checked Twitter/X notifications, then proceeded to walk my way towards a nearby bike path.

20250608_154919
– Corse Italia. These wall art displays are awesome. I also never saw the guy coming up, something I’ve been tempted in ‘object removing’ the person out.

– Plant Recreation Centre.

An elderly male grouping asks volunteers what sort of festival this was, to which they were informed it was the Italian Festival. I know it as a Ferrari Festival, but I guess both are technically correct. Italian Festival for the whole of the event, the Ferrari Festival mainly for the smaller Ferrari events.

20250608_155059

Yes, I walked my bike to the nearby bikepath. Why? Just because I could, and because I was annoyed with all the cars parked on the sidewalk. I was unfamiliar with the area, and I was also running Pokemon GO on my phone.

20250608_155336
– I can see what they were going for here. I can see the fancy style they were aiming for; The artistic interpretation. This area needs much more to make it appear as it would in those conceptual artistic renditions. Nearly there. Desired to cycle on the Trillium pathway.

Once I reached the bike path I hoped on my bike, placed my phone in the phone holder, and proceeded to now make my way towards downtown Ottawa. I passed by a Vietnamese female pairing, overpassing them safely. Zipped through a tunnel, eventually making note of a passing red O-Train, something I was eager in capturing for image purposes. I noted people in the train. I checked Google Maps to see what the running schedule was for O-Train at Bayview station, to which it provided me no answers.

– O-Train – Bayview Station. This doesn’t help me at all! (I could hear the O-Train bells sounding off in the distance, the train was however heading off in the other direction. I waited a good 5-10 minutes with no activity.)

I was becoming more stressed and strained from the warm weather. I sat there, on my bike, skimming my phone on the furthest edge of the Trillium bikepath (staring at the railway) attempting to make sense of the running time of this O-Train. Give me “some” running time! Anything. When does one arrive? When does one depart? How far apart to they run between arrival and departure?! At least Japan & Vancouver provided me this information, something Ottawa still struggles with. Tons of growing pains, operating pains, etc.

I nearly obtained a heat stroke while sitting under the hazy, smoky sun attempting to make note of this. I even observed a women walking her bike while on the phone making her way towards Bayview, and maybe even further. Dejected, I looked behind me for any trail traffic, bolting off towards Bayview, in a certain state of genuine astonishment with how much they’ve accomplished. Honestly speaking, this appears like a “rush” job done in Minecraft, yet a respectful effort. I could see the LRT train running above, the O-Train announcement being heard below. Felt professional.

I need to document the O-Train and LRT at another time. I felt disappointed, dejected, and confused. I also became confused at the following intersection. Where do I go?!

– Blue Line = My travel | Black Circle = Proposed roundabout | Red Line = My travel path.

Ottawa nearly had this area figured out. Almost had it! Needs to be made “cleaner”, more refined, and with actual proper destination signs noting what’s where. Yes, the blue dotted line noting the way I came, the red line noting where I went (with hesitation and confusion), and the black dotted circle noting where this roundabout should be. If not a roundabout, then an open fancy circular stone area. Too many blind spots.

I view Bayview as incomplete, dangerous, and tedious. It needs to be made more accessible, especially in that ‘Path-of-least-resistance’ manner.

20250608_160044
– Found myself at the redesigned, renovated Chief William Commanda Bridge repurposed into an NCC trail pathway. I also had to take a picture, one with cyclists in it, to which I removed them from the image on the spot. I left the others, only removing the two main folks. This is a neat area now, and I admire it.

This area used to be notorious for druggies, homeless folks, and low-IQ gang members. It appears to be more tourist-friendly, far more beautiful, and more appealing. I approve of this. It may still be dangerous, who knows, but at least it’s far more attractive. Booted up Pokemon GO again, proceeding towards downtown again.

It was from this point onward I was forcefully disconnected from both phone data and Pokemon GO. I entered a data blackspot in downtown Ottawa, and I was peeved. I needed to know my way around, especially with things having changed in a decade, and longer.

I was allowed to overtake an older lady’s cycling at an intersection (off image, and to the left), so I did. Thank you! I also overtook an older gentleman (seen on the pathway below in red), and so I did at the pathway’s bend. Little would I know that they would notice me crashing against a garage door wall. Alarmed, and also worried people may run to me from the nearby restaurant, I fled the scene. I didn’t want unneeded attention. I fled under the bridge, and onto the other side (it’s the unmarked bikepath trail), to where the black squiggle cartoon is shown.

– Red Line = Where I came from, where I went. | Blue Line = After Resting & Confusion | Orange square = No Entry & Construction Sign.

I came in where the red line notes (under the Mill Street Brew) heading into the garage under the bridge. I was confused, I looked around, doubling back. I accidentally hit the wall on my way out, holding onto the throttle for extra scratching on both my arm and the bike. I basically followed the green bike patterns on the roadway, assuming I could use the garage as a tunnel to lead to the other side, which it wasn’t. It was a car garage. My incident had me bang up against the wall, to which the elderly folks at the far distance noted. I wouldn’t be surprised if those at the Mill Street Brew also saw my accident and blunder.

I made my way “up”, and to the “right” (on the red dotted line), eventually stopping where you see the frustrated squiggles cartoon. I checked my arm for scratched, my bike for damages, and I hid behind the rocks. Yes, a few passerby’s coming the other way saw me, I was peeved. Finding the damage tolerable (maybe nonexistent), I unknowingly also ventured towards the Royal Canadian Navy Monument, a landmark I initially desired to visit. Lucky! I rested there briefly, once again checking over my bike on the rocks below.

20250608_161211
– Rested here for awhile. Maybe a good 5 minutes. I attempted to check for signal for my data, none was provided to me. I desired to check Google Maps, something I wasn’t allowed to do. All one has to do is to enter all these names into a naval war game containing Canadians, and you’re set. A basic, historical set of names. That, and also including Germany’s two captured U-Boats named HMCS U-190 & HMCS U-889, both sunk in vengeance/revenge by Canada’s navy.

Respect to Canada’s historical and naval contribution goes a long way. Oh, how I desire to see them active in KanColle and Azur Lane naval war games, one Japanese and the other Chinese made. I came to document this monument for use in both games.

– A stone’s throw away from Parliament Hill, if a bit tedious to reach.

I’m happy I accidentally stumbled onto something I actually desired to visit, especially for both Kantai Collection (KanColle) and Azur Lane purposes. I desire to see Canadians in both games, future games, and actual non-Anime games, such as was done for Silent Hunter 3. I’ve already went on about it [here], and elsewhere. I wish Canadians could also stop being lazy, instead with museums reaching out themselves to be inserted into these various games of their own accord. I’m talking about anything HMCS, HMCS Haida, HMCS Sackville, aviation based, etc. Anything. Or Canada’s Ram tank, among other designs.

Canada deserved to be remembered.

I had to make the push. I had to start making my way to the Parliament building. I already made it this far, I need to keep pushing, as frustrating and painful as it was turning out to be.

#1) RCN Monument | #2) Construction Sign & Detour | #3) Attempted to make my way via an alternate pathway. | 4) Secondary detour making my way to Parliament in the wrong direction.

Not only did I have my bike mishap on the opposite side of #4’s bridge, but I also struggle to find a connecting route to Parliament Hill. Everything was a mess, I was becoming angrier by the moment, and far more dehydrated as time went on. The NCC trails were disconnected, constructions, poor signage, and absolute confusion.

The #2 number in the above image also noted a non-entry orange construction sign of how pathway is closed. A dumb male cyclist made their way down this closed off pathway, I hope they failed in pain and misery. They failed to read an obvious sign, one I was still able to comprehend, they can suffer.

I eventually made my way down to #3, failing. It was taking me back another way, a way I refused to venture to. I desired to venture TO the Parliament Hill, NOT away from. Put up more signs, especially for touristic purposes. Tear down any deranged LGBTQ monument and festival advertisement delusions and erect more directional signage before someone actually injured themselves from improper directional signage in this God forsaken city. I saw an LGBTQ signage hiding in the trees, disgusted by how openly Ottawa desires to showcase perversion, intellectual dishonesty, poor parenting, and open advertisement for underage mutilation and sexual assaults.

After being thoroughly disgusted by Ottawa’s incompetance, active open perversion, and lacking professionalism, I ventured back towards #3, aiming for #4 to use the main roadway to head towards the Parliament Hill. A two-way bikepath at first, stupidly turning into an one-way pathway the rest of the way on Wellington Street.

OTTAWA IS RETARDED! RETARDED! Ottawa cares more about destroying the lives of underaged individuals (kids and teens) than they do about common sense practices in Ottawa. Jesus Christ……

I miss Japan!

On my way towards Parliament Hill I observed a group of touristic India Indians crossing an intersection on a red light. Bunch of morons. The retardation never stops…… If I sat under a table I would have flipped it in anger by now. I openly shook my head in disgust at how barbaric both Ottawa’s Downtown & Indians are. Disgusting.

Parliament Hill – Under Construction:

At last! I arrived! I finally arrived safely at Ottawa’s Parliament Hill, if barely, and all stressed out. Certain parts were smooth, other parts were accident-inducing, and others showed how barbaric Ottawa has turned into (LGBTQ perversion & India’s disrespect).

I walked my bike from the roadway towards Parliament Hill, also spotting one of the security officer coming out of their cruiser. I was concerned. Did I do anything wrong? The male security officer walked towards me, then past me. I breathed a sigh of relieve. I didn’t move. I stood there, with my bike in head, also taking the exact picture below.

Side-note: It was noted after-the-fact that they’re placing more offices and restaurants solely for those who work at the Parliament Building. It’s supposed to be a big secret, yet I was told. Nobody reads my blog anyways so nobody shall now. 😉

– Looking back to more construction, upon construction, and even more construction. Security officers conversing in a group in the bottom left corner, a tourist info centre in the middle (grey building), and some other semi-abandoned structures. The whole area is being reworked.

I didn’t want to take an outright picture of the security guards during the gossip time, least I get in trouble from doing such. I made it look as if I was being touristy, which I somewhat was, checking up on how Ottawa’s downtown was behaving. Tons of construction, a large group of security officers gossiping, and everything being both busy and quiet at the same time.

Side-note: I may have frustrated an older elderly guy after I carried my bike down the stone stair steps. I placed my bike fairly close to his causing concern to him. I wanted to apologize, I however was fatigued. I’m sorry.

– I took a lengthy pitstop next to the Rideau Canal area. I popped open Pokemon GO again to check things out, all the while charging using the wireless charger. It was too slow. It gave my phone “some” life, just not fast enough.

Side-note: There was a nice male gentleman asking if they could aid some Asian girls with some photography. One of the Asian girls was constantly taking selfie-style pictures, to which the passing father (with a daughter) kindly questioned over and over again if they desired assistance. Faith in humanity restored. I’m sorry I wasn’t of any assistance, I was in my own stress-filled bubble.

– Engineering with water! (and touristic disrespect).

Side-note: I have my own assumptions relating to both Indian-related disrespect shown towards Canada and Left-Wing brainwashing. No sane person would scratch out the face of Lieutenant Colon By & the British Colonial soldiers of the era. People hating white people because that’s what the mainstream media and ill-qualified educational teachers brainwashed people with….. This disgusted me. There’s no respect. Everything is made into a big mess by the mainstream media and intentional sabotage, it however isn’t an issue that it’s made out to be. It’s history, and that’s how it should stay as. This peeves me… Left-Wing people don’t care about logic, discussions, or anything. They simply seek ways to bully, harass, and sabotage anything they can. They desire justified reasonings to destroy everything they can, and they’ll happily, openly, and rudely do so with no regards to common sense, dignity, or respect to the other side. It’s their side, or the world burns.

– There’s your problem! Construction projects in the Capital!

I wish this was placed on the other end of the idiotic nonsense. I wish this was placed on the other side of the RCN Monument, bridge, and Mill Bar area. I wouldn’t have had that accident had I known where to go, how to get to places, and what issues are where. I had initially hoped of taking a full scenic bike ride running parallel to the Parliament Hill on the river-side trail, eventually coming UP the Rideau Canal locks, not down it.

*slamming on desk angrily in frustration*

I could have bled from the accident! Not just me, but other locals and tourists as well, but you care more about LGBTQ affairs than you do about the well-being of actual normal human beings and residents of Ottawa. Rotten pile of crap. Frustrated from the heat, the mishap, and other childish nonsense this city has to show from the people side of things.

I genuinely hope that LGBTQ Pro-Rape & Pro-Child mutilation monument gets desecrated over and over again. I’m not going to support fake “forever-victims”. Better yet, if that fake monument is fully canceled with funds being diverted into construction projects, proper signage, continual renovations/redesigns, and LRT & O-Train investments it would benefit the city in actual real ways. Actual real-world and common-sensed designs, as we’ve seen with the Nepean Bridge and the pathway leading up towards the glass art museum (in the below image). We need actual helpful and productive projects, not artificial “forever victims” nonsense.

– Amused by the floating bus boat and the tikki float. Too comical, if in a good way.

Now concerned, I slowly started heading back, this time in the direction of Queen Elizabeth Driveway trail. I had to cycle my way through various hipster neighborhoods, potential whiny Karen groupings, and possibly be jumped by some Far-Left weirdo. I was afraid of being vulgarly shouted at for simply attempting to rush home for health reasonings, phone battery health, and because I had an early shift on Monday. I needed to rest prior to my shift on Monday.

Time to head back home…

– Pokemon GO – Laurier Statue.

Started to pant a little from walking up the hill, with my bike in hand, all the while playing Pokemon GO up towards this bridge. My arms burning from being sunburnt, nearing heat-stroke levels. My phone threatening to die on me (20%), all-the-while I had to speed through a ‘Karen’ part of town. I dreaded cycling my long way back to Dow’s Lake, if with a calmer ride from Dow’s Lake, via Experimental Farm, and home.

– This tunnel is actually my favourite, and I admire it. Still contains historical elements to it, and I admire it so. I also forgot how those very stairways safely leads to the overly important ‘The National War Memorial’. Easy access!
20250608_171404
– I admire these gated windows viewing the canal. Nice historical vibe.
20250608_171408
– I just love this! I do fear street thugs, bums, and hobbo’s ruining the atmosphere, but I do admire the historical value of this.
20250608_171506
– Looking back the way, especially after noting some HMCS uniformed individuals packing a van to make their way towards Cartier Square Drill Hall building.
– 1) HMCS Military crews loading van under bridge | 2) Cycling pathway via National Arts Centre | 3) Heading under bridge to join actual bike trail.

This is just too silly for me! I could have potentially had a repeat of what I had under that first bridge. I could have banged myself somewhere, this time potentially drawing blood. Why can’t the bikepath/trail go under the art’s centre, not through it? If you look carefully, you can also see green cycling signs, as was noted in the first Google Maps picture I shared of my bike mishap accident.

Slightly more planning needs to go into Ottawa to make it fully idiot-proof and fluid for cycling, pedestrian and scooter purposes. I’m aware of this now, and I’ll make use of this, if I ever visit downtown. I would have to travel via the Karen & hipster neighborhoods, eventually reaching downtown on this safer route again.

– Interesting mural. It’s a shame that the utility vehicles are blocking the area, but you can still make out the artistic display. The bridge as a boat, and vice-versa on the right side.

I desired to make note of a few landmarks, if skipping them in haste to return back home. I missed out on making note of the Cartier Square Drill Hall, Pretoria Bridge, and a few others. I did make note of this neat appearing ‘Moose’ bench in the below photo, but others were regrettably missed.

20250608_172242
– Moose Bench.

I, thankfully, doubled back on a quieter stretch of the trail to make note of this Moose bench. I failed to note why this is special, I still however had to make note of it. I confused an older elderly woman, but I was happier noting this bench.

I was about ready to proceed on my way only to be surprisingly stopped by the same ‘Canada Geese’ guy I conversed with prior. He made his way back (a long way back) on foot to where I was, heading further to his residence. I noted how I didn’t see any other Canada Geese younglings, how my phone was dying, and I was rushing to get back. I was trusting my instincts on how this trail leads back to my place. We eventually concluded our conversation, making our way to where we were heading.

20250608_172319
– Flora Footbridge. I made note of this. Nice! It’s a nice looking footbridge.
– Rideau Canal leading into Dow’s Lake – An overly impressive stretch of pathway.

I was genuinely amazed how narrow, impressive, and amazing that stretch of bike trail running parallel to the canal was. Sure, it was frustrating with all the foot traffic, I however took in whatever I could visually. I wish I could share what I saw. Maybe at another time.

I was obviously peeved with various people hogging the trail, unable to pass, with how overly busy the area was. Others obviously saw my frustration, especially with how I slowed, waiting for an opportunity to pass. I’m aware these trails are for everybody, but there has to be a way to widen this stretch somehow. Have bikes be prioritized over pedestrian traffic, especially in this overly narrow area. I’m simply going to have to get used to the frustration of traveling through this area, I guess.

I, however, shall fondly recall the memories of the barge making its way back towards downtown Ottawa. It felt like Europe, like the Danube River, and slightly with Japan. Mostly European vibes here. Slovakian vibes. Danube River vibes. What I saw, and what I remember, came out as magical. As magical as I continously view Japan in high regards, but this time positively in an Ottawa light. I can finally show off the true, proper, and elegant side of Ottawa, and I’m proud of it. The REAL Ottawa, especially without the fake political drivel roaming around like a nasty fatal disease.

20250608_173051
– I love how Ottawa focuses on these big red wooden chairs. They’re one of the best things to be implemented in Ottawa, other than the fake gender & faux-political nonsense. This is natural beauty, and I admire it. I admire this true side of Ottawa, and I hope it stays this way.
20250608_173334
– I’m back at the ‘Naval Reserve Monument’, wooo!~ Salute to everything Canadian, Canadian Navy related, and I hope they find themselves in a game called Azur Lane.
20250608_173754
– I laughed. Florida vibes here, even though I haven’t been there. Nice floating vessel. (I had to also dodge a few rogue little kids on scooters. Didn’t want to wipe them out by running into them at this Hartwells Lock area.)

Side-Note: It felt so good cycling at full speed (32 KM/H) on the gravel pathway. My bike took it like a champ, and I admire the sensation. I felt human again, and I loved it! I loved it! I wish I could feel human like this every day, or most of the days per week.

20250608_174235
– Had to make my way back via the Experimental Farm, if concerned if I was trespassing or not. Gates were closed to vehicles, I however still rumbled through. I had to, I had to make it back home to rest and recover. Had to take alternate side-roads at this farm to avoid farm vehicles, yet admiring these hay bale collection moment on the way back.

And with that, my trip ended. The Ferrari Festival wasn’t bad, even if it was underwhelming. As others and myself noted, it’s all the wildfire smoke’s fault. The issue effects the majority of Canada, and it also can be seen in the first, the last, and in every photo in this blog posting, the previous blog posting, etc. Yes, it has cleared up by now, it however can still be noticed.

Yes, I was feeling stressed in general from the weather. It was deceptively hot, and I could have easily gained sun stroke. I felt as if I suffered a Cold/Flu attack overnight with how restless I felt. My arms burning from being sunburnt with all the red marks. Thankfully, no skin flaking, peeling, or anything. Fatigue, burning, and painful restlessness. I felt unwell the next day at work, especially with how I went to work without breakfast. I didn’t eat in the morning, I overslept, and everything was a mess. It was worth the trip, if with painful after-effects. Cause-and-effects. Risk vs reward.

I admit Ottawa is beautiful, and I have always noted this over and over again. Ottawa has beautiful natural parks, locations, and overly beautiful scenic locations. Sadly, it’s wasted on Left-Wing people and those who are anti-Canadian, wish to covertly destroy Canada through falsified political causes, and etc. More attention could be placed perfecting various renovated areas, further beautifying them, as was done with Nepean Bay Bridge, and the bridge feeding into the National Art Gallery area (next to Alexandra Bridge). Ottawa shall always be scenically beautiful, if sadly wasted by the people residing within of the Political Left, Anti-Canadian, and “I-Don’t-Care” variety, as was noted by India’s Indians not caring at all about Canada. Everything is trash to them. If you authentically and genuinely admire Canada is when you have my respect placed back to you.

I admire rediscovering Ottawa’s beautiful side. I can’t wait to document other areas I had initially missed on this Sunday’s outing. Have to revisit areas to make note of various areas I was forced to pass over due to various circumstances and situations.

Also, I can’t wait for when Canadians are properly represented in Azur Lane, even if it’s done in a lewd manner. People will still find about Canada’s history, and it’s better if they find out how awesome HMCS Haida is, have HMCS Sackville as an escort, and to also be aware how Canada used to individually own three aircraft carriers. How it would be nice to see true Canadians connect with their Canadians in Azur Lane, especially in regards to “Bonnie” (HMCS Bonaventure), or to see what it would have been like to own an Essex-Class aircraft carrier under the Canadian Maple Monarchy banner of Azur Lane. Canadians deserve to learn about their WW1, WW2, and overall history, hence my visit (visits, and revisits) to the displays naval gun mount and the Royal Canadian Navy monument. If the various historical museum organizations can reach out to Yostar/Manjuu/Yongshii then things would proceed much more smoothly. Less fear, and laziness; More boldness and respect!

Respectfully Canadian. Proudly Canadian. Truly Canadian. o7
