Happy Canada Day! Busou Shinki Style!
Heyo! Happy Canada Day! If belated onto USA’s Independence Day. It was a very funky and overly soaking wet Canada Day that added onto some interesting bit of happenings for both myself and the city of Ottawa.
[Experiences] Learning A Language & Language Awkwardness
Hello. I thought I’d try hitting a topic hitting more personally and more familiar with those taking their love for Japan, or other nation, more seriously. Learning a language, finding themselves in awkward situations, and just any ‘touristy’ opinions. Perspective of this article being in a Canadian, Slovak, and Japanese perspective of experiences.

[Movie] Modra
This movie took me a couple years just to get my hands on it. I ended up having to set it to record on Bell Fibe’s PVR recording overnight to allow for me to watch it during the afternoon. I’ve been curious and wanting to see how this movie played out. I was curious to see what I would recognize from my many visits there and to see Modra from a fellow Canadian’s perspective.

Grananoque/1000 Islands Trip.
Hello folks! Hope you’re enjoying your summer and summer vacations! Just wanted to add a very belated backlog onto my blog timed perfectly for season and month. Sadly, I lost most of my images so was delayed in posting this.

March 11’s – Japan Earthquake
March 11, 2011 – Northern half of Japan was hit by an 8-8.9 earthquake, this being the largest ever recorded in their history. I was up at 12 & 1 am when people mentioned their usual earthquake reports on Twitter. All seemed fine until tweets mentioned stronger than usual quakes hitting Tokyo, and places higher above Tokyo.

Figma’s Cuban Vacation
A continuation of my trip as I’m a big Figma fan. I just had to bring my Figma’s along for this trip as I never really took images in Europe as they were all indoor shots. I brought Figma Haruhi and Revoltech Saber along with me to Europe back in August-September 2008. I brought Casual Saber and Signum to Sharbot Lake and now took summer Haruhi & Mikuru, Ryomou, and Casual Saber. Why? Why not? I love taking images of Figmas, even more so when on foreign lands.

Cuba Trip – 2010
Cuba! After being taunted and continuously “pushed” to go to Cuba by a friend I finally went along with him. I took off to Cuba on Thursday, May 27th, 2010 and returned yesterday (Friday, June 4th, 2010).  It was an excellent 7 day trip to Cuba with a great chance to experience a different lifestyle and way of life. I stayed at Playa de Oro, Varadero, and had a one day trip to Havana on a bus tour.

Ottawa Tulip – P3 & Ottawa tour
Part three of the Tulip Festival with an added and continued downtown Ottawa tour. Basically got stuck in the same place due to the incoming storm but it started off differently. I decided to finally get around to showing you guys and gals a long wall of graffiti that other locals and photographers tend to photograph. You may want to view this in large to make out the fine details.

Sharbot Lake trip w/Figma Saber & Signum
For those that have been lurking on my forum may have noticed a “trend” of me saying “for a change of scenery I decided to -here- to take pictures of Figmas“. Well, to continue that trend I shall now say:
“For a change of scenery I decided to take pictures of my Figma’s outside of Ottawa, at Sharbrot Lake.”
Only for Figmas? Of course not. I assisted with some minor tasks. Taking pictures of Figmas was just me taking advantage of different scenery.
