Ottawa Tulip – P3 & Ottawa tour

Part three of the Tulip Festival with an added and continued downtown Ottawa tour. Basically got stuck in the same place due to the incoming storm but it started off differently. I decided to finally get around to showing you guys and gals a long wall of graffiti that other locals and photographers tend to photograph. You may want to view this in large to make out the fine details.

(All images and videos were taken with a Lumix GF1 – Pancake lens. Article contains 57 images and 2 videos.)

Hope you guys and gals don’t mind me starting off with the Ottawa tour first? The Tulip Festival material will be at the second half of the article with 2-4 videos (depending on how editing goes).

The only attachment I have with this place was when registering for a summer course for my grade 10 math, volunteering at 2008’s Tulip Festival, and seeing a Crab Apple tree losing it’s pedals in a similar fashion to Cherry Blossoms.

And then an attempt at redoing a shot of a nice fountain, garden and a bus stop. Got to share the great things of Ottawa, right?

And then the garden from Ottawa’s “World Trade Center”. I could be mistaken, but that is what I remember reading and was told it was. I think this should be your ideal place to relax at, heh.

And then another one of those tourist buses I saw around Sparks Street. That should be all of them now, one for each article.

Another look at the Chateau Laurier. Tried to make the images feel more “alive” instead of scenery each time.

And then the (View sign below) that I’ve been taking images of in the past few Tulip articles. Just one more visit here when it gets all active and you won’t have to be worried about seeing the same place over and over heh.

Note the dark clouds seen through the tunnel in the below image.

It rains.  And the below images are for those probably wanting to see Ottawa in other weather instead of Sunny or just cloudy.

Just imagine various individuals walking up towards the opening taking pictures while small kids sing loudly in French. Interrupt your thoughts with a cyclist going by every minute or so.

(Link – MySite)

Well, that was annoying. I was expecting something heavier.  Wheres the heavy thunder and lightning?

The clouds turned back to white.

Crazy Ottawa and its wacky weather, and I actually mean it when I say it.

Look in the background, not the foreground of the image. I expect it to be shrugged off but it was random.

Storm front was darker when it was on the incoming from the south.  Now, since I’m a the Tulip lets mark this as the Tulip half

Tulip Festival – International Friendship Stage.

A nice snack from Peru – Had meat, sliced boiled eggs, olives, and other hidden ingredients. Was very tasty and filling.

And this next snack is from Thailand – Panang Rice Curry (I hope I said that right).  Was hot and VERY filling. I was still able to taste it a couple hours after I ate that. So good, yet so filling.

Oh? This wasn’t here when I toured the place and came on my second visit. When I was taking the shot she briefly looked and continued talking.

I obtained the dancing tulip headband and have the blue “Sora” (Sky) from the 2008 visit.

Thanks for viewing and hope you enjoyed today’s tour and Tulip Festival. Sorry if I keep going back to the same place (Ottawa locks), but you know its for video making purposes. I may or may not add a part 4 of a merged Sunday-Monday Friendship stage  or just go back to my Anime routes.
