Ottawa Tulip Festival’s final article as today (Monday) is the last day for the event. I went back to Major’s Hill Park for the final time on Sunday to obtain some final Friendship stage content and to also wrap up the touristic view of Downtown Ottawa. I hope those following the blog enjoyed the 4 (or 5, counting the intro) covering both the Tulips and the Canadian-Dutch WW2’s 1945 celebration.

More international foods for you people to try out – Mexican Cheese Quesadillas.

And a nice meal from the Philippines. It really hit the spot, I want more!

I basically covered everything, right? The International Pavilions, wooden and real Tulips, the International friendship stage, a small portion of the foods they have, the vendors, what I ate and obtained.
The only thing I missed was Dow’s Lake/Commisoner’s Park. I wanted to go there but wasn’t sure if all the Tulips would of been damaged or destroyed by Canada’s wacky weather.

Ottawa Tour – Final:
And the last touristic look at downtown Ottawa. I mean, I’ll be showing you more Ottawa through Figma photo-shoots, however this will be the final planned “tour” paired together until another event. I also redid this shot due to a storm causing Alexandra and the Ottawa River to appear dark.
Check Ottawa Tulip – P1 (last image) to see Lady Dive on land.

Boat tours, anyone? They’ll make you listen to the Canadian Anthem on high.

I’m just following the bike path trail that goes along the Ottawa River and up towards the Rideau locks. You will get a better idea if you study the images in all four articles.

A friend of mine said that this image reminded him of the Stanley cup when he viewed the image at first glance. I guess I can see it if I look from the corner of my eye.

My favorite tunnel on the bike path.

And an awkward pot hole in-between this tunnel and a historic looking structure. You can see the building with the large chimney – as seen in Canada Day article – in the 6th image in the article. I’m quite curious of the cause as you wouldn’t normally see something this deep.

And an archive joke thread dealing with pot-holes –

People were fishing. Someone also managed to catch a nice big fish in a catch-and-release fashion.

And the road to Gatineau-Hull. This roadway looked nice and curvy from the center of the middle lane. You could probably see what I mean in the below image.

War Museum (new) and “The Mill” restaurant.

A highly unusual apartment complex that has been in construction for as long as, 7+ years? The progress on this is highly unusual and extremely sluggish.

A small peak into the War Museum – Hordes of tanks and vehicles in the bottom floor. I tried going onto the roof as there was an unblocked ramp leading up towards the roof. Me and various other individuals were shoo’d off by security with the female locking up the gate afterwords.

A pink muscle car to end the article. I also saw a red F430 Ferrari but wasn’t able to take an image of it from a far. I mean, you could but it was either hiding behind things or just a simple red dot. Wish I had that 45mm lens for my Lumix, or that I sat closer to the road.

Hope you enjoyed the 4-5 part tour of both the Tulip Festival and Ottawa. I enjoyed my trips to the Festival as I obtained a nice white Soviet hat, a Japanese headband with dancing tulips, and a few delicious meals from foreign nations. Also managed to obtain lots of 40 second clips of the downtown region that I plan to use in one 10 minute long video.
Thanks for taking the time in viewing the article and hope you enjoyed what you seen. Until the next local event!
