Spark’s Rib Cook-off w/Figma Ein

Ottawa holds a Rib Cook-off every year for a few days for locals and tourists to try out. I decided to give this event an article this time around because I didn’t give one to it last year. I also encountered Ein on Parliament Hill where I tried to eat my chicken and ribs in peace.

Before I went onto Sparks, I took a quick stop at the local comic book store nearby to see if they had any Figmas or nendoroids in stock. They did have a few highly interesting Anime related merchandise, none that I could afford during that day, no nendo’s, and no Figmas. There were three huggable pillows, two of them being Haruhi and one of them being C.C from Code Geass. Lots of nice Gundam model kits were also on the shelves and a few high priced figure statues. The rest of the shop was aimed at the North American comic book fans.

All these ribs and chickens are practically the same with the same choice of menu. Only thing that differs are the amount of trophies and where they are located. Just find the shortest line and you’re set.

I had Ribs and Chicken – Was supposed to have Beans and coleslaw but eh, me and the guy both rushed. I found out a bit too late that I was missing both. How much? $15 for Ribs and Chicken and +1-2 bucks for the beans and coleslaw – $17 total.

Tried to find a nice quiet place to eat at and went behind the Parliament to eat up.

Ein joins me in snacking on the chicken and ribs.

And with that I hope you enjoyed the article.I tried for a video but I only got 40 seconds worth. I shall just dump that all in the next Ottawa video tour. Hope I at least provoked a few stomachs to rumble with some American styled ribs and chicken heh. Thanks for viewing and hope you liked what was within.
