Saber’s Photoshoot (and a bit of sidetrackness)

Well since it was nice out I thought I should go out and see where I could go. I looked up at my desk thinking if I should take a figure to take pictures of during bike stop breaks. I saw that Mini-Saber and the new Revoltech Saber so I brought her along. Got on my bike, went on the bike path, headed towards Mud Lake to find people looking at the Canadian Geese with their baby Geese. I stopped, got off my bike and got sidetracked for a good 10-15 minutes while I saw another guy trying to go fishing with a fishing net.

After taking a quick early stop I then headed towards Westboro Beach to find a place to take pictures of Saber doing poses. There were many people since it was warm and because it was a Sunday so I looked around for awhile for a quiet area. My good area was taken, where I stood my largest Saber, so I went down near a quieter area protected by tree branches where it makes it hard for people to go down with large objects. As weirdly as I worded that I went down a small river bank covered with trees next to Westboro Beach. Here are my Saber pictures taken over there. First row and second image, the top left corner has a bit of my finger in it but since I liked the pose I gave Saber . The pose is as if Saber is giving orders to her British Army (or at least a private bodyguard kind). I’ll upload it regardless and I was thinking of photoshopping the Fate/Stay Night logo there to hide the finger

Since I didn’t have a pose reference sheet (and I forgot to use my cellphone to check for Saber’s poses) this is what I came up with, as cheap as it is. First image was of Saber getting up to attack an opponent with the second image being one where she gets ready to strike at the enemy.

After seeing these images again I noticed I got Saber dirty (with some of you going “obviously”) so I’ll take more time to think of poses while making sure my hands are clean. Good thing I don’t take these figures out much but when I do I try taking nice pictures. If my pictures suck I will say that they do (like my Gundam model photoshoot). These two images below I took below I thought they were neat so I decided to show them to you even though its not anime related. The rapid being the biggest one next to a clear riverbank and the countless Seagulls (meant for a joke counting session for readers when added to this blog entery) in the air, thought I’d try to take pictures without and with Saber. I tried to get Saber lined up with this rapid, you think it worked out?

Now here are two of the best images with the waterfall and Seagulls in the background. I thought this was the best spot to take images of a clear background so I went right ahead even though Seagulls where there.

Since the day was so hot ,and the pocket I carried Saber started heating up, the photoshoot was put on hold (or stopped for the day). I don’t think anybody gave me any odd looks or had weird thoughts since I chose some respectable areas. For the future I’ll get Rin and COS-MOS of the big Saber figure so I’ll try something darker for them both (and if I aquire them). Sorry if you couldn’t understand some parts of the blog or if the Canadian Geese with the Baby Geese where random. If any of you have a mini Saber Printable posing chart for Revoltech Saber feel free to notify me by commenting here, on the Dannychoo article or on the shoutmix found on the home page (Link).
