There is still hope! Hope! Hope for the Canadian ‘Maple Monarchy in-lore faction to be its own full-fledged faction, just like every other faction, including the Dutch nation of ‘Kingdom of Tulipa’.
“But it’s just flavour text. Canadians are a minor nation, and they’re not a real faction, nor navy. They’re always tied to the British, and always shall be. Nelson also covers India, do you expect India to have their own navy?” – Other people.
Similar to patent trolls, you always have people who always put out any flames of fun to ruin anything genuine over their arm-chair falsehoods. Azur Lane is an escapism game meant to allow gamers (Commanders) to connect with what they admire, not shun them into suicide over false pretenses and falsified logic. Not in Azur Lane, not in reality, and not overall. Yes, it’s easier to simply lump Canadians and Australians into the Royal Navy faction because it makes it easier to code, program, and be lazy, it however isn’t the genuine manner of doing things. It shouldn’t be the Asian-way of doing things either, even if it is the Western way of simplifying things out of tardiness and laziness. View ex-European studios implementing Canadians on rare occasions via Ubisoft Romania’s ‘Silent Hunter 3’ AI Canadian traffic, or even Normandy ’44 RTS land game. Those are rare gems in a sea of generic cashcow war games. Sadly, Silent Hunter 3 is an ancient game, one which doesn’t hold the true Canadian fleet that we now know, and admire.
Let’s be very clear: I’m genuinely proud for any authentic Dutch folks who can both connect and admire their newly implemented Dutch shipgirls. Congrats to them, and I hope they treat their Dutch shipgirls well. I can’t directly converse with Dutch people, especially with one having cut ties with me seeing as how we had a falling out over artificial political affairs. They had their own mental issues to deal with, they threw me under the bus over false pretexts, but I do wish any authentic Dutch person the best. If you’re Dutch, if you admire the Dutch shipgirls then you also have my respect. And yes, with the Dutch, we (myself anthers who desire RCN) both wish and hope for Canadians to find their way into Azur Lane via Azur Lane lore.

Realm of the Neversetting Sun – Royal Navy Dominated Realm:
This one was a slightly confusing lore, if an interesting one. It holds up well on its own, if showing signs of paying respects to our actual history, one which people note as the ‘Commonwealth’ taking hold across the majority of the world. In this realm, it’s noted to be the whole world. The whole world is the ‘Commonwealth’, if under it’s varying sub-groups, factions, and alternate Royal Navy parties holding grip on varying land groups.
Glorious META’s realm requesting aid from the ‘Neversetting Sun’ realm, not of Alpha or BETA line. Confusing at first, eventually making sense as one processes things further.

Seeing as how HMS Nelson represents Indian ‘Bharat’, does that mean I also desire India in Azur Lane? If that’s what Yostar/Manjuu/Yongshi are hinting at, then sure. More the merrier. It’ll make other people happy, especially any genuinely-minded, and respectful Indians from India. I took the liberty of making note of what vessels India had access to during WW2. For Azur Lane purposes, I’ll only focus on Destroyers, that’s what the game mostly focuses on.

I double-checked the information with the encyclopedia & with the Wiki. It appears to check out, and I would be fine with commanding Royal Navy shipgirls flying in-lore Azur Lane flags of India, A.K.A Bharat. My focus is mainly on the Canadians, and secondary with the Dutch. The Dutch are now in the game (with two shipgirls), and the Canadians have yet to obtain their own in-lore banner of their own via a necessary Retcon. I now digress back to Canadian & Dutch point-of-views once more.

Once again, what does Canada have to offer to have them be worthy of being implemented into Azur Lane? Their ‘Maple Monarchy’ namesake, for one. Fighting Beavers, with a Maple Leaf motif as their flag. They’re proudly Canadian, and they would fight to the last potato stud and Coca-Cola can against their enemy. They always, and I mean always, fight to the last man. Germans feared the Canadians more than anyone, especially after having brutally torturing their fellow Canadian comrades. Canadian fear is one to be well respected. Never disrespect the Canadians. Ever!
Seriously, what do we have to offer? I’ve noted this numerous time, so let’s make note of it once more.
[Wikipedia Information] – [RCN Encyclopedia]
- 3-6 Aircraft Carriers (CVs) – (HMCS Bonaventure, Warrior, Magnificent; Nabob, Puncher; HMCS Essex-Class Aircraft Carrier (Name pending).
- 3-4 Battleships (BBs) – (Mainly paperships/researchable vessels) – [3x Queen Elizabeth-Class Battleships (HMCS Ontario, HMCS Quebec, & HMCS Acadia); 1x HMCS Yukon via World of Warships.]
- 2x Light Cruisers – (HMCS Ontario & HMCS Uganda A.K.A HMCS Quebec.)
- 3x Armed Merchant Cruisers (AMC) – (HMCS Prince Robert, HMCS Prince Henry, & HMCS Prince David.)
- x43~ Destroyers (DDs) – (6x Tribal-Class, 2x A-Class, 7x C & Cr Class, 10x Town-Class, & etc…)
(If Canadians accepted American’s transfer of an Essex-Class Aircraft carrier we could have up to 6 CVs in the Maple Monarchy fleet, as sourced here. Potential HMCS Dominion, HMCS Canada, or whatever Yongshi/Manjuu/Yongshi desire to name her. I prefer ‘Dominion’ because modern-day Left-Wing fake Canadians are afraid of ‘Dominion’ as a name.)
Very noteworthy. It would honestly be a shame not to connect with HMCS Bonaventure, let alone what Canada could actually be. Azur Lane has allowed numerous paper-research warships to take the form of shipgirls; to materialize as actual humanoid shipgirls in their respective Azur Lane dimension. If we actually obtain these shipgirls there may also be room for more fictionalized shipgirls to flesh out the heavy cruiser class, and any other missing ship class types from other realms, has has been done to the Dragon Empry, Ironblood, French faction, and even the Northern Parliament. We can even have the three AMCs partake in similar support roles as Kashino, or Anti-air focus, and an Akashi +1 ammunition role. You can have fun with the Maple Monarchy in Azur Lane.
Not only are there authentically interested Americans who desire to see the Canadians as a playable faction in Azur Lane, there are also actual Canadians, and some Asians who also desire to see Canadians do their thing. People genuinely desire to see the Maple Monarchy, also thanks to Yostar/Manjuu/Yongshi having teased them prior in 2018~, and also via HMS Fortune’s initial dialogue line noting Canada’s presence in the world. Canadians are always viewed as a minor nation, and that’s a shame, stunting their actual presence and performance. It prevents things from being what they actually should be, further falsifying history over hurt feelings and intellectually dishonest armchair historical activism. It prevents genuinely interested Commanders (Azur Lane term for players) to get to know HMCS Haida, “Bonnie” (HMCS Bonaventure), and other noteworthy Canadian Maple Monarchy shipgirls.
I’m from Ottawa, I was born in Ottawa, and I would happily max-level HMCS Ottawa. I would also max-level HMCS Vancouver out of respect for my travels there, and for being a noteworthy gateway to the Asian world. Sure, maybe the Sakuran Empire may be peeved with Canadians for disrespecting the Japanese populace during WW2, there however is also room for friendship and comraderies between the two. More so with how the Dutch were saved by the Canadians, and how the Canadians and Dutch are supposed to be fairly close friends. Or how Canadians we had our valor stolen in the Italian warfronts for the Americans to parade around as victors. Canadians fighting all the hard fights, all-the-while the Americans stole Canadian valour time and again. Even so, Americans have done their actual fair share of battles, they however don’t have a clean record. Canadians fought against the Royal Navy, and also with the Americans, hence this nasty back and forth nonsense. The constant denials, discrediting, gaslighting, and downcasting anything Canadian over falsified American and UK historical rivalry. It’s all a farce, meaning Canadians have an authentic place on the historical stage.
Imagine both the UK (Royal Navy) and the USA (Eagle Union) playing tug-of-war with the Canadians, that’s what’s happening here. They’re actively ripping the Canadian flag to shreds.

If I had to deal with Duke of York’s overly formal King’s English I would go crazy. I would roll up the nearest newspaper to hit her over the head. No disrespect to Duke of York. I’m sure she’s fine, her English would be one where I would have to ask her to repeat herself a few times for clarity sake. That, or have an Duke of York language interpreter for those mentally low days. She’s the active ‘Governor-General of the Maple Monarchy’ in Azur Lane, if in the realm of the ‘Neversetting Sun’ world. It’s a world filled with Royal Navy accomplishments, mirroring that of the colonial era of our world – 1497’s to 1930’s.
I can’t help but foresee this as a potential retcon to eventually implement the highly requested, anticipated, and well respected Royal Canadian Navy, Maple Monarchy shipgirls into the game via the ‘Neversetting Sun’ realm. Not only Canadians, but a handful of Indian shipgirls, Australian, New Zealand (ANZAC), among other highly requested ‘Commonwealth’ shipgirls. It gives us Canadians hope, if saddened over the realization any alleged ‘Minor Nation’ is always lazily tied to the Royal Navy, out of fear any extra code may blow up the world, or something. Developers are lazy. I’m thankful I had a few people provide me a heads up to how the Maple Monarchy still have hope of finding their way into the world of Azur Lane. Others desire to shame, some desire to support, and I’m happy to see anything related to Canadian being implemented, present, and active in the Azur Lane lore and realm of things. Respect is respect, and I can’t wait for the eventual full acknowledgement in how Canadians actually matter.
We’ve had numerous teases, and it’s about time we eventually see our Canadians appropriately represented and respected, especially to pay respects to the intentionally forgotten. It’s why I’ve also transferred from KanColle to Azur Lane, solely for the Maple Monarchy connnection, anticipation, and eventual implementation into Azur Lane. It’s now 2025+, and we still do not have Canadians, even if they’re teased from a 2017, 2018, and now 2025 standpoint. Sure, Azur Lane may be a now-perverted lewd Asian game, it however is an accessible game providing access for others to learn about various shipgirls from our world, other worlds, and “what-if” shipgirls. Allowing our Maple Monarchy shipgirls would allow others to be fully aware of what we Canadians actually commanded during World War 2, and even shortly after post-war. People would be aware, if sidetracked by lewd teases, in how we had access to 4-6 aircraft carriers, or battleships, light cruisers, and among other hidden paper & research vessels. If it can be done for Iris Libre, and other factions, same can be done with the Maple Monarchy, Kingdom of Tulipa, and other nationalities. [Fool’s Scale Event for non-existent, yet present planned paper ships.]
People are still waiting for Japan’s battleship Yamato, something which was initially teased back in 2022, and we still do not even have Yamato. I’ve traveled to Japan twice since, once when Musashi was teased, and again with Unzen. I’ve seen Yamato’s anchor twice.

It genuinely makes me wonder what HMCS Haida is dealt with, what she has been through, and how she appears. What sort of battles she has gone through, if the Sirens have destroyed her, or if she’s a surviving shipgirl in some random test world. I can’t help but wonder if HMCS Bonaventure is out on a sortie, if she’s on good terms with her own Canadian comrades, or if she’s struggling with ASW-related Sirens, X enemies, and etc. I can’t help but be curious about my Canadian shipgirls, especially as a Canadian myself curious about the welfare, wellbeing, and patriotic accomplishments obtained by these shipgirls in their respective worlds. I want to see, I want to interact, and I want to have fun with these Canadian shipgirls. I’m a Canadian, and I care for my Canadian shipgirls.
I want to know if HMCS Ontario (BB), HMCS Quebec, & HMCS Acadia have been researched and constructed; Are at their pre-WW1 specs, or if they’ve been retrofitted to their WW2 specifications. Are we allowed to sortie with our proposed, yet precious Queen Elizabeth-Class batteship trios? Does HMCS Acadia sport regal reddish-brown hair? Does HMCS Ontario (CL & BB) sport a Trillium flower on her uniform? Both BBs & CLs for HMCS Ontario. What about HMCS Haida? Is she a hybrid British-Haida appearing shipgirl? What I mean by that is if her birth is of British origin, all-the-while sporting Haida tribal clothing. She can also be a pure Haida tribal shipgirl, that is also fine.
I’m always wondering about a lot of things. I can’t help it, especially being a proudly Canadian citizen. I want to connect with HMCS Haida, and so do numerous down-to-earth curious Americans, proper Canadians, and creative Japanese. It doesn’t help how the Japanese are creatively curious, crafty, and superior, something to which now allows the Chinese & Koreans to tap into these same markets. For Japanese artists to bring a real-world Canadian Ace pilot alive through [Elizabeth Frederica Beurling] within in the realm of Strike Witches. Or how Muv-Luv has a hidden side story relating to Canada’s rebellion against America’s aimless actions against the enemy alien BETA. [Main Muv-Luv Canada source & Athabasca Incident]. It’s all thanks to Japanese creativity that I’m this passionate, curious, and highly eager to be patriotically Canadian with my potential shipgirls, just as much as the Dutch can be with their Dutch shipgirls. We’ve been waiting ages for proper Canadian shipgirls.
Normal Dutch people have also shown interest in desiring Canadians and Dutch factions would connect with one another via Tulips, hence the [Ottawa Tulip Festival 2025] I’ve recently visited mainly for Azur lane purposes. There were strong anticipations of the Dutch Faction name-dropping Canadians, something which never happened. It had to happen via the ‘Neversetting Sun’ realm.

Hoping for future Dutch events to acknowledge Canadian participation. I’m fine with the introductory Dutch event focusing solely on the Dutch, and that’s fine. They recently “birthed” two shipgirls into the realm to protect their fragile, if yet moderately defended coastline from the Siren threats. I can give the benefit of the doubt, if firmly expecting any future Dutch events to acknowledge Canadian Maple Monarchy participation in its in-lore variation. Providing supplies, defending the coastline with proxy-Canadian shipgirls (HMS Fortune, HMS Foxhound, HMS Cygnet, HMS Comet, & HMS Crescent.)

“But there are already Canadians in Azur Lane”
Only proxies. Yes, these are “proxies”, they however aren’t true Canadian shipgirls. They aren’t under the Canadian Maple Monarchy banner, even if they note their alleged “flavour-text” transfers. People desire proper Canadians. Actual Canadians! They don’t even have their Canadian outfits, especially from 2018~ Twitter/X tease.
- HMS Fortune = HMCS Saskatchewan
- HMS Foxhound = HMCS Qu’Apelle
- HMS Cygnet = HMCS St. Laurent
- HMS Cresecent = HMCS Fraser
- HMS Comet = HMCS Restigouche.
I made note of Mary Celeste as being a purely Canadian built shipgirl, if under a Tempesta banner. She’s a Canadian-American-Tempesta shipgirl making her a very funky shipgirl to be around. It also makes me sad seeing Mary Celeste as a submarine-type Tempesta shipgirl limiting how I can sortie her. She’s a covert shipgirl.
There is demand, there is desire, and now we have another candle lit up to lean further into the Maple Monarchy camp. Azur Lane’s lore provided further possibilities of providing what people actually desire, especially of the Canadian shipgirl desires. Of people desiring HMCS Haida as Canada’s leader in the Azur Lane realm. For Canadians to show their might, to properly inform the various Commanders of what Canadians used to be, what we could have been, and where we could go from there. Yes, even META versions of these Canadian Maple Monarchy shipgirls.
“But Canadians are a minor nation“…..
But are they?… Not to me, nor to any other people who have shown genuine interest and desire to have Canadians implemented into Azur Lane as their own proper faction. Canadians are not an alleged ‘Minor Nation’ to those who desire the Maple Monarchy – The Canadians of Azur Lane. Canadians are an alleged ‘Minor Nation’ to those who always desire to disrespect, void, discredit, and gaslight others who desire to connect with historical entities which have actively participated and actually have or had existed in our realm. They can actively exist in the world of Azur Lane, a giant universe containing more than ~400+ realms in existence, or ‘test-sites’, as the Sirens put it. Hundreds, thousands, and even millions of potential worlds to explore….. The X Aliens provided an avenue for more than just Canadians to appear, and we have access to even more than even that.
I’m expecting to be constantly, and further being disappointed in how Canadians may be initially introduced. They may start from the lower tier shipgirls, eventually reaching up to where people actually desire them. They may even miss out on their CVs & BBs, for all we can tell. Even so, I still firmly anticipate the Canadian arrival, just as we obtained the Dutch, as with how we were also teased with the Maple Monarchy time and again to simply be alleged ‘flavour text’ nonsense. It may finally be time for HMCS Haida, HMCS Bonaventure, and hopefully even the trio Queen Elizabeth-Class Battleships to take their form in Azur Lane. For HMCS Yukon to be a research vessel, or how HMCS Niobe may be the sole representative of the Canadian Maple Monarchy faction.
The Official Survey:
I’ve noted time and again how Yostar/Manjuu/Yongshi were the ones who initially introduced and teased us with the Canadians via HMS Fortune. They made note of the Maple Monarchy, they teased us with the 2018 July 1st celebratory Tweet posting. They’ve teased us loads over Canadians, eventually retreating back into their abode to pretend Canadians don’t exist. They baited and switched us, and I made note of that for them! Even if it may be alleged “flavour text”, it’s no longer such, especially after when you have an event make note of the Maple Monarchy again, especially after HMS Fortune’s line made note of such, and of how transferred between the RN & RCN.
I continuously provided them my Canadian desires of seeing the very Canadian factions they themselves waved in front of us, similar to how a warm delicious food is teased in front of your face. We can see the dish, we however can’t consume it. What a tease! Window shopping. It’s within our grasp! The Canadian dish is on the other side of the window, the same window preventing us from being able to fully enjoy these very same Canadians, or Yamato, Essex META, and others.
I desire to see the very shipgirls I’ve noted. Our CVs, BBs, DDs. The patriotically Canadian outfits for them, to see them in the 3D Private Dorm, the 3D Chibi holiday island, and anything else these shipgirls tend to partake in. They shouldn’t be shy in visiting HMCS Haida, HMCS Sackville, or even Kingston museum ships within the real world. They’re there, they’re free for Yongshi/Manjuu/Yostar to visit! Wherever they go, I’ll aim to go for a Canadian visit. I may be harassed by those seeking to collect male genitals to blackmail others (Rising World game related), or those to dox me, I however shall still go, just as long as it’s properly Canadian and Azur Lane.
It appears they’ve listened to me. They appeared to have listened to my feedback in one manner or another, even if it may be coincidental. I know how much people admire downplaying and discrediting me, I however feel they may have actually listened this time with how Azur Lane’s lore contains many realms and worlds. The ‘Neversetting Sun’ Realm actually contains the Canadian Maple Monarchy, and I’m happy knowing such. Sure, saddened it may lead to Canadians being further downplayed, yet a chance for us to not only finally have fun with Canadians, but also with the ANZAC; Australians and New Zealand shipgirls as well. Maybe other Dutch shipgirls which struggled to be constructed within the main BETA test-site world.

Over 400 worlds of possibilities, one where more Dutch shipgirls reside. A world where the Dutch, Canadian, Australians, New Zealand (ANZAC), Roman Navy, Greek, and other navies are at their prime. If not at their prime, then maybe simply barely surviving by hanging on a thread….. Basically any world where they actually have their research & paper ships at the ready, and where their META variants have held the line, as Glorious META had done. As Vestal META was recruited from, or where other factions have held the line at their actual full strength.
I’m well aware low-IQ-minded Commanders shall spam poutine, maple syrup, Timbits, and corny Canadian stereotypes upon the announcement of Canadians, I however still desire my Canadians at their highest quality all the same. Hockey memes and references are fine with me, and I would admire anything hockey related for Canadian shipgirls. Air hockey, street hockey, and anything of that sort. Yes, even if their character designs are of sexual appearance, I’ll still actively desire them. If the art is also as tasteful and respectful to their namesake. If they actually represent their Canadian namesake, identities, shipclass, and have historical identifiers representing them.
The Maple Monarchy in the ‘Realm of the Neversetting sun’ is a good start to finally connect with these beautiful Canadian shipgirls. A nice potential retcon to correct the errors of the first year of Azur Lane. With Haida, Bonnie, and other beautiful Canadian shipgirls sailing on the beautiful, open seas. Even Skeena, Sagueney; Nootka, Cayuga, and also both versions of Athabaskan (G07 & R79). Maybe I would get to see HMCS Uganda/Quebec practicing her marksmanship at a gunnery range, or making note of her highly advanced radar to pinpoint targets. HMCS Uganda/Quebec was used for her radar in her 3 theatres, and I hope she’s made note of her radar and anti-aircraft marksmanship. Her mutiny is more complex than it was made out to be, it isn’t something to make fun of, as others had done on Reddit to shame and discredit anything to with Canadians in Azur Lane.
What I would give to see a beautifully Canadian Maple Monarchy scenery, one filled with Canadian shipgirls roaming around in various ways. Or one where Canadians and Dutch participate with one another with Tulips, tending to one another’s war graves, or even enjoying Chinese & Japanese cuisines. They could even play hockey with the Ironblood faction and Russians as well. Good chance for that. Possibilities are endless. Ripe for the picking.
I’m well aware I’m mostly in the Maple Monarchy camp, but I’ll once again make note of my strong desire of seeing HNLMS Tromp teasing the Sakuran Japanese shipgirls as a prank, as she had done in her real-world activities. Japanese continuously having assumed HNLMS Tromp as sunk, marking her as such on numerous occasions, eventually noting her as an ‘Ghost Ship’ for her refusal to be a fully-sunken vessel. Wikipedia initially noted such, eventually sabotaged to remove mention of such a happening of her ‘Ghost ship status’, hence why you don’t use Wikipedia as a source. Thankfully, we have a book making note of HNLMS Tromp marked down as a ‘Ghost Ship’. Other than being a depressing reminder of being betrayed by politically corrupted Dutch friends I would still admire having fun with an Elven Dutch shipgirl viewed as a ‘Ghost ship’ to the Sakuran shipgirls. I desire to see HNLMS Tromp’s more gorgeous side. The actual Dutch side, tulips, glass shoes, and etc.
[Source to HNLMS – ‘The Ghost Ship‘ & Book Sourcing (Amazon)]
Yes, I also desire to see ORP Blyskawica in Azur Lane. She fought until her barrels turned red, other vessels spraying her barrels with cold sea water to cool the guns as much as possible. ORP Blyskawica fought, and fought, and fought, until her guns threatened to self-destruct on her. Her riggings threatening to break, crack, and crumble from all the battle stress downing all the enemy aircraft, vessels, and other threats. She’s also twinned with HMCS Haida, both of whom would be great sorting with one another in the realm of Azur Lane.

I refuse to be ignorant. I’m aware Canadians (and other factions) exist, and I desire them to be present. Nothing held back, no discrediting, and no voiding tactics. This is why I’m so obsessed with Canadians to participate in both KanColle and Azur Lane. I refuse to see Canadian and other factions (Dutch & Chinese also) be bullied, reduced to lesser valour, and mistreated. I initially became interested in our Canadian navy via KanColle, and also with the Dutch with the now ex-Dutch friend, one where I still desire to see HNLMS Tromp regardless. Even if it reminds me of how fickle, slimy, and fake the Dutch people are. Maybe there are genuine Dutch folks out there, they however may have been silenced to modern mainstream nonsenses. I digress.
It’s thanks to KanColle, and now Azur Lane’s initially Canadian teases that I’m hellbent on desiring to see Canadians in Azur Lane. I can’t live in ignorance, nor do I want to lie to myself that Canadians are alleged ‘Minor Nation’ entity. They existed, they fought, and they have noteworthy vessels. I’ll continue to press for Canadians, for our CVs, BBs, DD, and other shipgirls until we obtain them. We’re so close, and especially within the newly established ‘Neversetting Sun’ realm. Sure, we may have visited the world prior (I can’t recall it), it’s however nice we now have various sources for Canadians, Dutch, Polish, and other factional shipgirls. (View Strike Witches & Muv-Luv (The Day After) again; Silent Hunter 3)
I can’t just give up on Canadians now, not when we’re this painfully close. Yes, even if I’m also befriended by those who I viewed as “friends”, ones who are supposed to have my back through thick-and-thin. Friends are supposed to stick together through heaven and hell; thick and thin; good and bad; sickness and in health. That’s what friends are! I guess my friends are useless pieces of trash. They would much rather gaslight, void, discredit, and pretend, all for false self-gratification, as online trolls tend to do with not only Canadians, but Chinese, and other factions. Even if I have to lose friends over desiring Canadians, I’ll keep desiring Canadian shipgirls for KanColle and Azur Lane. I’m proudly Canadian, I’ll always be for Canada, even if I constantly note I desire to live elsewhere. I desire the best in everything. I admire both Japanese and Asian mediums, they always do what Western mediums fail to do.
If they existed, I desire to see them. It’s a simple as that! If they existed, if they have their own banner, then they’ll be implemented. Yes, ORP B?yskawica, HNLMS Tromp, or even HMCS Niobe, all for the fun of it, and to learn more about them. I don’t care if we obtain Mexican, Indian, Greek, or Romanian shipgirls. The more, the merrier. There’s also ORP Grom, and also ORP Burza to have fun with. Polish faction would be a blast, and the closest nationality to Slovakia I could ever get, in the naval sense.
I can’t be dishonest with myself. Honesty is your best policy, and it always shall be such, as Azur Lane has shown. As long as you provide what people desire, they’ll always be happy. For the most part, that is. We’ve desired Bunny suit outfits, we’ve obtained it, and it’s the highest selling outfit type for Azur Lane. This, after another Chinese gacha game self-censored themselves over the bunny suit providing a swift response for Azur Lane to take advantage of. They’ve been cashing in on this demand ever since…. Azur Lane taking advantage of other people’s flaws.

Sirens have access to these same 400+ worlds, one where factions flourish, struggle, and are also on the brink of death. One where the Eagle Union control the world, one where the Northern Parliament reigns supreme, or where even the Kingdom of Tulipan are a major superpower to the rest. It’s not farfetched to assume such, it’s the way of the Sirens. It isn’t far from the reality to assume there is a whole new faction to play as, or where the Maple Monarchy have overthrown the Eagle Union as the main North American faction. Sirens play dirty, they play rough, and without mercy. They don’t care about anything, only that it provides results, even if it means weaponizing various factions against others. I would also fully support a world were a Polish in-lore faction controls Europe in their own world. Again, where ORP Blyskawica, ORP Grom, and ORP Burza roam free in their world.
There is a world for somebody out there, one where one faction or another is both at their best and worst. There are more than 400+ worlds to choose from, and there’s bound to be one for someone out there.
Azur Lane has, once again, made note of Sirens gradually warming up to BETA-realm shipgirls, if out of obligation of survival. Potential playable Siren-based faction shipgirls for future playability. The future contains numerous possibilities for anything, including Sirens being a fully playable faction in the coming years. Numerous people on the Azur Lane Reddit have expressed positive desires in being provided the potential possibility of being allowed to sortie with playable Siren units, one which seems promising. Friedrich Der Grosse initially was assumed to be a Siren from her character style, further proving people desire Sirens as their comrades-in-arms, just as long as they’re not betrayed as Dutch people I initially had befriended. Sirens needing to be made more modest prior to their recruitment to the Azur Lane front.

“Flavour Text! Flavour Text! That’s Flavour Text! Flavour Text!”
Maybe, maybe not. People have also desired not only for the Royal Canadian Navy in Azur lane, but also for the ANZAC to be properly portrayed in Azur Lane. The game wasn’t expecting to be alive for how long it desired to be, hence these various retconning of the story. Similar to how Canadians have Proxy-Canadians, similar can be said for the Australians and the New Zealanders.
- HMS Vampire = HMAS Vampire
- HMS Leander = HMNZS Leander
- HMS Achilles = HMNZS Achilles
- HMS Shropshire = HMAS Shropshire
(As had been done with Bismarck Zwei, one can also duplicate shipgirls over factional differences, retrofit, or originally via outfit patriotic signifiers. Two for Australia, and two for New Zealand; 4 for ANZAC)
I can understand if this is one of those Azur Lane post-eight anniversary retconning of the lore, especially after how people desire HMAS Perth, among other ANCAZ-related shipgirls. The realm of ‘Neversetting Sun’, once again, seems perfect for all this potential retconning of the lore. For Canadians to be released on Canada’s Canada Day on July 1st, or for ANZAC, and other factions.
Terra Australis refers to either Australia itself, and also to Antarctica, an interchangeable name, just as long one is name something that the other isn’t. They can’t have the same name, though they’ve been named similar. If Yongshi/Manjuu are setting the stage for a Royal Navy, Maple Monarchy, and ANZAC faction to fight in their realm against the Sirens in Antartica, it also makes sense to use this as an introductory event for those alleged Commonwealth nations to appear under their own banner, even if they’re still somehow associated and tied to the Royal Navy, if under their own actual banner. People would have fun with HMAS Perth, or even HMNZS Leander. I would have fun with my Canadian side, and more Dutch shipgirls could be had, especially of HNLMS De Ruyter, and others. A fair number of Dutch shipgirls can be introduced from that realm.
If Canadians are planned to assist in that realm, and are to be introduced to the player base, their aid may be provided by a historically Pacific-oriented shipgirls to join in on the fun, such as HMCS Ontario (CL), HMCS Uganda/Quebec (CL), and even HMCS Prince Robert as a Kashino Anti-air type vessel shipgirl.
Battleship Yamato – The Continuous Tease!

People are also highly anticipating (waiting) on battleship Yamato, something which was initially teased back in 2022. She was also anticipated for 2023, and again for 2024. She’s continuously being teased via story lines, a covert shipgirl working behind the scenes. She also “hijacks” the consciousness of ordinary Sakuran shipgirls to converse with other Sakuran shipgirls. Same with META-affiliated shipgirls.
Yongshi/Manjuu/Yostar need to take absolute care not to artistically disgrace battleship Yamato. Kure, Japan, a place I visited twice in 2023 and 2024 would be fully displeased with the presence of Azur Lane’s Yamato if she appeared overly generic, rushed, and disrespectful. I, with a bit of fear, visited Kure for Kantai Collection naval connections, also because Kantai Collection is what made me what they call an ‘Admiral’ in an KanColle sense, or even a ‘Commander’ in an Azur Lane sense. KanColle Admirals insisted I should have stuck with KanColle through-and-through, especially with the proposed satisfaction of obtaining the shipgirls through all the blood, sweat, and tears, the same stress which can potentially land you in a hospital. I’m not joking! Numerous people, including the Japanese, migrated over to Azur Lane, Umamusume, among other similar mobile games to avoid KanColle’s hostile gaming environment. I admire KanColle, I admire KanColle’s Yamato. I was even gifted an KanColle Arcade Yamato card, a gesture I still view in high regard. I’m still grateful. I admire Yamato! I’m currently wearing one of the touristic grey Yamato sweater I purchased from the Yamato gift shop. I’m saddened by the whole KanColle state of things, especially with how unplayable KanColle is, especially on busy workdays. I have the necessary KanColle clients to play on my PC & Smartphone, I however tend to be highly reluctant to do so, something I hope Azur Lane doesn’t screw up on in regards to Yamato.
I have Bismarck, Yamato, Iowa, Hornet, and some of the fun shipgirls. I’m however saddened by the fact KanColle self-sabotaged itself, one where numerous people, organizations, and groups worry with concern for KanColle to correct the list in its own leaning. People desire KanColle to float, yet the Captain of the KanColle vessel is far more stubborn than those who desire to scuttle their own vessel. Azur Lane took over where KanColle failed, and now we’re anticipating Azur Lane’s answer to KanColle’s Yamato appearance.
We’re in anticipation of Yamato’s grand entrance, the same one which showcased how majestic Azur Lane’s Shinano is, and how Musashi herself is. Musashi and Yamato are supposed to be of the same ship class, something which has people on a highly concerned edge. The anticipation is massive. Shinano META was also teased via BGM naming, a META version we have yet to encounter in the lore. Shinano META is a serious foxy beauty we may end up potentially fear, yet also admire.
I hope when Yamato is released that she is truly majestic; Of high quality, proudly Sakura, regal, and traditional. I hope she rivals that of KanColle’s Yamato. If not, Kure (Japan) shall riot. Her poor appearance shall be another round of ammunition used to discredit Azur Lane via KanColle gamer base, and one to also send my way after having accidentally offended those who are religiously tied to KanColle. I offended them, and for that I am sorry, but I do not desire to die of stroke, nor of a heart-attack, hence my currently “loyalty” towards Azru Lane. The longer I liver to admire something, the better. I digress. My point being is how Yamato needs to be treated with the utmost care, something I’m wishing those tied with Azur Lane are in contact with Yamato Museum, Kure’s military branches, and other relevant historical groups to gain their perspectives on things, even if the bias may lean towards KanColle.
May be hopeful thinking and wishing, I hope to eventually see a respective KanColle and Azur Lane collaboration. Both games would do well to befriend one another, not shame each other, to push forward proper games. If ‘Victory Belles’ is going to treat me as a circus animal solely for desiring Canadians then I wish KanColle and Azur Lane to be the better games through-and-through. Honesty is always your best policy, and both those games need to keep pushing forward.
YAMATO!~

I’ll always admire KanColle, and I’ll always purchase merchandise when I’m able to, yet saddened by how those who hold ownership over KanColle are actively allowed to do so, an arrogant action which provides further opportunities to continuously push further ahead over KanColle. Their own arrogance shall cause the premature death of a perfectly fine IP, one which inspired Azur Lane to come into being, and survive for as long as it had, filling in the very voids KanColle itself refuses to mend. Arrogant, yet sheltered behaviour. My heart grieves for KanColle. It used to be the best game during 2017-2019, if self-sabotaged via destructive gameplay mechanics and nonsense RNG behaviours.
How I pray for Azur Lane’s Yamato to be as majestic as she was teased all these years.

The tease is insane, and I can’t help but be fairly frustrated. I have mixed emotions, especially knowing how Yamato is being held back as well throughout these years. Maple Monarchy has been held back since 2017-2018, Yamato since around 2023, and Essex META roughly around 2023 as well. They do eventually arrive, and I hope the Maple Monarchy arrives sooner than later, especially during a time when I can till partake in these Azur Lane amusements. I desire for them to arrive for when I’m genuinely able to actively participate in their introductory events, their leveling, and when things actually matter. Everything takes forever.
I was constantly discredited, down-casted with constant mentions with how Canadians don’t have a place in the world. Allegedly they don’t have a place in the story, nor a place in any event. Same was said for the Dutch, for the Chinese, yet here they are! We have De Provincen and Eversten. There is even a stage for the Australians & New Zealand faction to take their place on the stage along with the Canadians in the ‘Neversetting Sun’ realm, especially with how that world used to contain 400+ realms. They can have fun with the Dutch, their Tulips, and their playful Tulip Festival amusements, and also with other factions. They have their stage. Yamato is also awaiting her time on her stage with Essex META.
As destructive as the Sirens are, I would have fearfully requested them to guide me to a world where the Maple Monarchy are allowed to roam free, one where their power can be put to the test. Sure, at the risk of being fully decimated by the Sirens. I could tour an science fiction version of Ottawa, of Vancouver, and hopefully see what it’s like in Azur Lane’s style of things. I would love to get to know all these very shipgirls we’ve been actively denied in getting to know. People admire Bonnie, as they do with HMCS Haida, and HMCS Quebec (light cruiser). We’re saddened by how much Canada has regressed, yet admire our military achievements all the same.
I would love to see if HMCS Quebec (QE BB), and even HMCS Acadia (QE BB) wear similar outfits as Lion has. Her red Royal Navy attire. I would love to see the slice-of-life, antics, naval sorties, and everything through a proper Maple Monarchy lens. How they co-exist with the Dutch, and to see a less rude version of the Dutch folks. I would love to see a more traditionalized, more mystical, fantasy version of the Netherlands via the Kingdom of Tulipa. If Yongshi/Yostar/Manjuu ever desire a free-roamy open-world game, now is a better time than any to do so, especially in the manner of Flight Sim 2020, 2024, & Silent Hunter 3. Roam anywhere, do anything, and at your own style. I would take HNLMS Tromp with me to jokingly spam tulips everywhere. Hopefully the Crispa Tulips could be something I can spam around the world. 😉
