I acquired another ex:ride on Friday, June 18, 2010 after a user on figure.fm notified me of this product. The certain user told me that our local AnimeStop had an ex:ride near the cashier via figure.fm‘s Puchi Blurbs so I called to place it on hold, rushed over, and purchased it. How much? $28 CAD – $33 with taxes.

I’m not sure what color of this bike is green as I only see a mix of white and yellow on the front part and black on the rest. I think I was lied to. Though, I don’t actually mind the false advertisement and let it slide this time. Why? Because me and my Figmas won’t be mistaken as potheads or leprechauns, heh.

Saber gladly shows us that the plastic container the scooter comes in contains a plastic bag that holds three mirror stickers. Three? I’m probably missing out on the obvious but I’ll go ahead and guess that people make mistakes or sand gets onto the sticky side causing you to lose the mirror. Make sure to look in every nook and cranny of your packaging in case it contains any hidden goodies.

Pros:
– Adds some form of realism to the Figma posing line for Figma’s to sit on, or do “still” stunts.
– The front steering and wheels are one piece allowing the scooter to turn both left and right. There is no hindrance with the steering.
– The scooter is nicely detailed to allow believability in photo-shoot images. Has a kick stand to allow bike to stay standing.
– The scooter came with three mirror stickers, probably in case if you lost one in sand or similar.
– Figma figures may sit on the scooter with ease, unless limited edition types.
– A hole on the bottom of the bike to allow a Figma stand peg to be inserted for posing of dramatic images.
Cons:
– Lack of accessories – View segway article.
– Lack of moving parts.
– A tad too simplistic.

For those that are returning visitors may have noticed I have also added “Google Friend Connect” onto my blog and site. This allows users with a Google, Twitter, or Yahoo account to log in and follow/comment on my site. It also allows me to interact with you and vice versa. Options for polls, reviews, music playlist and etc are available to those wanting to use them.
I’m still new to it myself and still experimenting with it’s features so I might not mention all of it’s known features. I also ditched the previous wordpress shout-box plug-in in favor of this Google Connect as I’m highly interested in interacting with my lurkers and followers.
Speaking of interacting with users, I also added a poll during user sign up to see what parts of my site interests you the most and what parts I should focus on in the future. I also added another widget for visitors to add their point of views on how my site and blog are doing. If you’re ever bored then feel free to fill out the poll and the review widget.
