Figma’s winter curiosity

My first real photo-shoot with my Figma’s in the Canadian cold weather. Took Shana and Saber on a winter exploration just to see how they would fair in the Canadian winter weather, freezing along the way. Creative opportunities are vast for photo-shooting while posing them can be a bit troublesome with the winter cold and the fluffy snow.

This article continues off from the December Antics:
Santa-Cola Antics – Shana and Haruhi

Figma Merry Christmas!

This Article is also for those who want to see a bit into the Canadian weather within the Nation’s Capital. Consider it a sneak peak though as its more about Figma’s then the scenery.

An abandoned bird nest covered with a cone of snow.

Little paths created by Rabbits and Squirrels, sometimes birds.

Snow shoe tracks heading towards the Ottawa River and then later follows the shoreline.

A big opening in the ice on the Ottawa River. Either it was naturally caused by the movement of the river or someone fell in the river again…….Such a nice view as it appears to be perfectly centered in the middle of the river.

And Saber in a bird feeder. Wait, what?! Saber in one of those hanging bird feeders? How the hell did……….

(Link – MySite)

Ah, there we go. Much better.

Saber …..pondering?…..”Hmmmmmmmmmm“.

(Link – MySite)

Woops. We interrupted her chain of thoughts, heh.

Up for some Skiing? Tons of Ski trails going parallel to the Riverside parkway and the bike path. You’ll see occasional snow-shoe paths as well. If you look at these ski trails in a certain angle you can see flakes reflecting the sunlight and can get it to look like glass, or mirror.

Oh, and here comes Shana, on that same path.

And, the pondering saber?  Doing a “rock on” gesture?

(Side-note: So need my Ferrari models for these ski trails lol)

fuwa fuwa~ (Fluffy)
Gotta love the fluffiness of the snow. Neat clouds as well.

…..or Saber is still ticked at Shana? Its probably about this: Link. Or it must be as simple as a “Hello!”

Speaking of Skiing, two skiers incoming.

*moments later*

Oh? Shana just discovered an icy fortress. Lets explore.

Oh? Saber found a nice frozen throne for her frozen fortress.  Must sport a nice view of the surroundings if she’s pleased, heh.

Shana still struggling with her icy ascent.

Oh hey, note the column of icicles on the right most side of the image.

A random image insert of the winter themed Lego Bionicle. This one looks more exotic then the ones that were originally sold in Wal-Mart back in 2003. Obtained this one in Slovakia, Bratislava where their Lego is more (or was) up to date.

An another random image insert of Saber trying to look across a skii path onto the lower one. Fuwa fuwa (fluffy) snow!

Hmm. A slightly random image insert of someone inspecting the ice quality on the Ottawa River.

Would of obtained more images but my camera’s battery died. Was going to add a simplistic combat scene. Ah well, I still got the next 3-4 months before the snow melts lol. I’m even glad I got this much for an article. This also concludes my first 2010 article. Not bad, quality is likable for the first one. Might do another one. And don’t worry, I’m limiting myself with using Japanese words/language as to not abuse it.

(Edit: Added four images of Milk Coffee Pockies)

May I get a translation for these grayish brown packages? 🙂 I found this hilarious as I always get the see-through kind.
