With certain plans on the horizon this hangout had to be held a month earlier than planned. I basically forgot about the anniversary, even forgetting about my own thanks to how busy everything is. I had to hold this earlier hang-out to meet up for old time sake, and to just take it easy while I myself would lag like a crazy fool from computer stuttering, and for real world plans in November.
Our first world we chose was the tree house, a world where it all started. Back around the 2017-2018 timeframe I was stress testing my Oculus Rift at the time, even taking pictures while accidentally being a mute. Hawk and Hunt were both talking to one another at the time wondering why I was doing what I was doing, eventually figuring out my situation. I let them know my situation, wrong mic, and etc to which led to a party. Kobi, other folks, and friend all joined up turning this whole first meeting into a crazy and memorable experience. It was the first night when I chose to have a week off for mental health leave. Too stressed needing a week off to recover from workplace abuse.
I poked Hawk during this to which he sadly misinterpreted my poke. He missed out on our hangout. Sorry it had to be that way. We were waiting for both him and Hunt to arrive. Same with Kobi.
Drivable Steam Train:
A world I desired to explore for awhile has now been possible during this night allowing me to realistically drive a train. It was laggy, yet however genuinely fun. I enjoyed moving all the levers, wheels, and hearing it chug along through three different zones.
Various conversations were to be a had, such as Slime VR, DecaGear, Oculus Quest, and etc. Lots about VR.
Kobi desired to head back to the Treehouse, the group voted on heading to my world instead. Their minds changed once they realized how “wonky” the world I loaded them into was instead heading to the aquarium after. My computer was stuttering in VR (need to clean it out), was hoping a smaller world would help.
(Talking about Kobi’s brutal health problems and situations. Being scammed, etc.)
I admired seeing Paimon in 3D (in VR), I sadly didn’t get the response I was hoping for of equal admiration. I genuinely wanted the other person to be all hyped up mentioning their love for Paimon, or how they would love to see a Genshin VR. Sadly, the mood was dry not allowing for any attachment at all. I could only instead think about desiring Genshin Impact being in VR to experience this very charm. Sadly, it won’t be a thing.
We won’t be able to explore Genshin Impact in VR, nor fight, fly, glide, to whatever until someone pushes through with it. After seeing this Paimon in 3D I would genuinely love to see a VR Genshin game, even as a standalone, or side-project. Whatever capacity, I’d admire it.
Bonus (After hangout):
Kobi had to leave thanks to his headset, Hunt as well for a game event. I was the only one left with Delta and this fellow who brought us to a Honkai world. Not to be rude, I was genuinely bored at this point, yet still admired the beauty in places. I kept mute out of respect and for being “burnt out”, in ways.
I was encouraged to drop a few worlds myself leading us into an Azur Lane world themed to Bismarck. A few lewd jokes later I decided to just call it a night. I just wasn’t feeling it, nor do I connect with ‘crude’ humour. I was tired, my waifus were being disrespected, and I was just losing my mood to play so I simply hopped off to do other things. Slurping noise were made for Bismarck and Graf Zeppelin I just simply zoned out. I explored at my own pace. Sadly, no images were taken of the simplified Azur Lane world. I only explored it desiring to play Genshin Impact before it was too late. I was tired, etc. No disrespect to Delta and the other “friend”, just that the mood and expectations were different.
The mini-hangout was neat, though missing ‘Floofy’ things were almost perfect. A few mistakes, though a learning experience. We had our fun, we chilled. WE captured the moment so it was all worth it. For having to do an Anniversary a month earlier was neat because of planned real world happenings in November. Things were pushed around a bit.
