Fubuki’s Snowfun & Happy New Year 2013!

Happy New Year’s folks! Ya, I’m bad with article titles so I’ll just leave the title as it is. Fubuki decided to check out the snow after Renge and friends. She ended up getting stuck in a deep snow hole and tried sliding down a hill. Heh.

– December 27ths 13 cm of snow; Fubuki happily measuring the snowfall.

(All images taken with a Lumix GF1 – Pancake lens; Shall leave this article open until all pre-2013 images were taken and shall tweet when done.)

Fubuki wanted to check out the snowfall after Renge’s curious sking during the bigger of the snowstorm. Renge ended up skiing ontop of the snow while Fubuki did a more…’tame’ exploration. She helped measure the snowfall while also struggling to make a snowman. The snow wasn’t snowball making quality so she simply cut it up in half and went into sliding down a mini hill, or tried. ^_^

Was going to bring Fubuki out again but she had enough of the snow, or something close to it. Something to do with sinking into the snow and getting trapped.

– She got stuck! XD

Looks like she picked up a loose windmill and climbed her way out. Or if you want to imagine Fubuki being helped out with me giving her the windmill works as well :P.

Snowman making time! Oh wait…..bad snow quality hmm.

Decimating the snowball time!

….Was suggested Fubuki should make a snow fort but she doesn’t want to – something about her sinking in the snow and getting trapped heh. She doesn’t want a repetition. She does want to go out, but only when it is warmer.

-> 2x Sapporo, 2x Zlaty Bazant and some Udon soup for me to munch on mmm!~

Minecraft Festivities:

I couldn’t go another year with not celebrating something around the time it should of been. Managed to sneak in Halloween festivities on a dead map and even added in fireworks festivities for the New Years. Sadly Christmas was left out. People on my server actually came on and enjoyed the show heh.

– Fireworks factory still under construction. I only set up the basics for the New Year’s festivities.

– Livestream Video link – Here – because me and Nas’ spent hours creating fireworks that lasted 30 minutes. Wanted to record it all.

Happy New Year – Good Bye 2012 and Welcome 2013!

– Happy Foxy New Year!

I must say that 2012 was a decent year. I didn’t do as much as I did in 2011, but I still did get stuff done when I wanted, minus the traveling. The non-anime or slight-anime highlights of 2012 would be:

G-Anime 2012Happy Valentines DayOttawa Ferrari Festival 2012Ottawa Plane Spotting – 767-300The Witches of Andorra – Ken_Works PilgrimageWings Over Gatineau-Ottawa 2012

What I meant by “non-anime” was by doing the usual with no real travel and not constantly focusing on my Anime figures or shows. Quite pleased with what I did participate in and took images of. Though sadly, it looks like people aren’t as interested as I am which I would say is their loss or they’re simply “speechless”.

I’m glad I keep going to Anime cons, however I forgot to go to Naru2u 2012 because other things were bogging my mind down.
Valetines Day isn’t my thing because I always feel pain on that day. You can always know who your friends and enemies are on that day, as clear as night and day at that. Society reminds you of how useless you are unless you are a lemming of society. I did however make light of it with Shinki Renge which I’m glad.

Ferrari Festival? Can’t miss it. Without Anime I would then drop down to Ferrari and then nothing. Anime and Ferrari is how I roll! I try and watch Formula 1 whenever I can as well – Canadian and Japanese are a given. If I miss them then something negative occurred in life.

Planes! Seriously, how can one not enjoy the metallic birds in the sky? Sure, they are common and people take them for granted but without them people feel their pain. I enjoy seeing planes because they’re still alien to this world, even if we’re overly familiar with them. As someone who has travelled in them many times I enjoy viewing them on the opposite side of the window.

Ken! You’re an awesome person! You made my 2012 awesome with your Danny Choo-esque images & your curiosity in the world. The quality and curiosity shown is most likely similar to my own, with me still struggling behind however. I enjoy viewing your images of Japan, Europe, and America and am thankful you sent me the book gifts! I do however apologize for constantly pestering you whenever I need something figured out.

And lastly – Wings over Gatinea-Ottawa – Planes! So many planes! Actual planes and not 2D images of planes! I’m in plane heaven! Or at least a small piece of it. This time people didn’t take things for granted…I lied, they did. They didn’t wave back to the Golden Sabre pilot. Been trying to go to it before and to others with no luck. I’m glad I managed to go to this one. I had a nice rush when the CF-18 flew past breaking the sound barrier a few times. That howl as well.

– Strikemaster is such an awesome plane to fly in FSX.

Have to say that 2012 seems to be the year of the Dragon when things were meant to fly. It kind of shows with how I kept focusing on planes a lot with the Departure show re-runs on CityTV (Channel 15 for Ottawa), with me venting my frustration on Tumblr, video spammage of JustPlanes on Twitter, and playing Flight Sim X for a few before Minecraft took over. I’m constantly looking up into the sky.
To add onto this on the Anime side – Jormungand TV added swarms of A380’s at every airport around the world & threatened to free the skies of aircraft. Macross (original) took place during 2012 when an alien invasion was to spell doom for the whole of humanity.

– Jormungand Perfect Order – The First Step to Escape From Complex:

– Macross – Do you remember love?

I’m also pleased that I was able to finish off Busou Shinki Moon Angel and watch Busou Shinki TV soon after. Busou Shinki turning Anime was mine and every other Busou Shinki fan’s dream. Also, another shout-out to the Jormungand anime! It was such an awesome anime with best amount of action and dark humor. To those that dislike this I would say have screws loose or are trying to pretend they’re intelligent. They wanted a serious anime and they got it! If they refuse to watch this then slap them right in the face for being contradictory! If you seen “Lord of War” you’ll enjoy this 10 fold.

To end this off – I’ve spent half of my spare time on Minecraft as to not go insane. Been playing with Minecraft FTB – Mindcrack pack the last few days, using the default before that. The Mindcrack gave me trains and opened up a new way of playing Minecraft. I’ve been dragging whoever I could into there. Sadly, block ID’s and corruptions keep making me map hop, hope this is the last. Let me settle in my Mindcrack created map so I can keep it as my main from now on! Such a nice map!

Also sad to see a fellow blogger struggling with life. All those fun moments are now frozen in time. Hope you get a stroke of luck so you can enjoy 2013! Hope to see you around as well, you know who you are. I’m being purposely vague because I still want to shout out to you. Also, don’t quit what you like in life! Keep at it! You’ve fought all this time only to give up now? Don’t…

In short: Planes and Ferrari seem to be the highlight of 2012. I simply want to fly…fly away from Ottawa and to the west. Who knows, you might see me in either Vancouver, LA, or if a miracle happans – Japan. Spent my time taking images of my Shinkis and playing Minecraft with a touch of PSO2. 2012 basically felt as if I was flailing in water, struggling to stay afloat. Hope 2013 will be better.

Have yourself a nice Happy New Year – 2013 – and hope to see a nice traveling 2013! Glad people were full of shit when it came to the Mayan 2012 doomsday. People wants drama.

Next up – My favorite figure images of 2012 sometimes after 2013!
