Busou Shinki TV â€“ Episode 08

Hello fellow Busou Shinki fans! This episode is mainly about Ann going on a date with Rihito, her Master. However, there is a nice little twist and a beautiful song sung by Ann awaiting you.

– Ann, Hina, and Lene all play the pirate in a barrel game!

This episode was quite a strange, yet light-warming episode. Ann had her wish to date Rihito, her Master, come true with the help of a virus contained within a Shroom bottle. Remember kids! Don’t do drugs or take shrooms or you’ll always have a bad hit. Even if it is a good one it’ll always give you a negative side-effect.

The whole crazy Shinki antics started with Aines sneaking some highly suspicious Mushroom drug. However, Hina indirectly stopped her by sending Lene flying direct at her. Nice shot!

– Lene preparing herself for a nice flight ^_^.

– Lene looking all so yandere. She’s going to kill you Aines! All because you said you wanted to go on a date with Rihito. *Points to Yuno & Mirai Nikki*.

– Let the Shinki virus loose! Now, let’s give Ann a lovey-dovey dream while we erase her memories!

– Quick Opening Note: Noticed that the OP only had Ann’s Seiyuu singing which was nice. Might of been in the previous episodes and I haven’t noticed. Regardless, I did find it nice for that it referenced to itself for this episode’s setting.

Ann? Human sized? Bring in Athena from Busou Shinki – Moon Angel! She’s 100% human?! Reality HAX! (Yes, I know the virus put her in sleep-mode, giving her a dream she always wished for.)

– Clara: ???!! I SAW NOTHING!~ All fine here! *turns around*.

– I’m Ann! I’m not a human, I’m a Shinki! Truly! I’m not lying!

– “I’m outta here! Go see a doctor! – Clara

Oh? Even though this is a dream (or she mysteriously did get a physical body), she knows who MaoChao and Howling are? I heard actual names and them being associated with a Master as if they were friends, or knew each other at the very least. Oh, and yes….Shinkis do fire actual rounds, and they obviously hurt like hell. How do I know? Battle Rondo OP, Moon Angel, and seeing scaled down weaponry.

Also amusing how Ann tried going through the little door instead of trying to kick the big door. Shy Ann is shy….and highly innocent…just like an Angel. Oh? A subtle reference made by 8-Bit studio heh. She wouldn’t be an Angel if she didn’t knock down the door.

– A flying umbrella brings Rihito and Ann together. Predictable :P.

– You got to admit that Ann looks cute in human form. Nice and innocent as her Angel type as well.

– Ann and Rihito’s romantic yet highly scenic moment.

– I see $_$ in the store clerk’s eyes; Ann looks nice in that outfit.

– With or without subs, this scene tells you everything that is going on just by looking at a sleeping Ann. Minus a few things however….Poor Aines, she is freaking out the most.

– !!! – A little nightmarish bump in a beautiful dream.

– Romantic Flag tripped roughly 6 times; 7th for UFO catcher.

– Our Angelic Princess is infected with a virus which well…puts her to sleep while deleting her memory; Nice scanning program Lene has.

– This scene here confused me the most – Either inconsistent with Ann’s dream or Ann did obtain a physical body of her own.

– Insert Ann’s beautifully sung track playing during Ann’s recovery moment & Rihito’s urgency to heal Ann in her Shinki body. –

– Lene desperately trying to diagnose Ann.

– “I’m sorry that I lied to you, I’m Ann. Don’t worry! I’m glad I got to have this moment” – Ann

– Poor Rihito & Ann; This shows how much he loves his Shinkis and how attached he is to them. This episode he regained my respect points for him.

– Ann is back to her own self! Rihito must of stressed himself out, wow.

– “AH! She’s awake! She’s fine!” – Aines

– Deja Vu moment – Same as the beginning but this time Ann knows what Aines is carrying….This implying Hina, Aines, and Lene had parts of their memories affected as a side-effect of the shroom-drug?….This episode…..

Well……I like this episode but it was just “out there”. Nice romantic fun for those always dreaming what it would be like to date a Shinki. However, seems like someone who wrote the script for the show had a hit themselves for for how random this one was. I still like this episode and it wasn’t all that hard for me to watch, luckily. I want that Ann track but in a full 5 min length or so when Rihito rushed to get her Shinki self cured.

Off to a Shinki version of Egypt to uncover riches and fame! I actually do enjoy seeing what Shinkis make and entertain themselves in their own universe. Happy little kids creating numerous things while seriously fighting when their masters want them to. Fun fun!

Looks like the Fencing Type Shinki variants will be appearing.
