Busou Shinki TV – Episode 07

Happy Halloween fellow Busou Shinki fans! A bit late for that? Well who cares! Enjoy what you can while you can, or end up……….*coughs*. Anyways, Happy Halloween from Japan with our friendly Fubuki who wants to share ghost stories with one and all.

– A nice big stretch to shake off any fatigue causing heat-wave. Our lovely Aines heh.

They come back from a nice trip to Okinawa only to get caught up in the Japan’s usual heatwave. The problem is they’re like humans, down to feeling temperature that they get KO’d by the heat just as easily as person and a personal computer.

Our cute Hina (Strarf) tries to act all tough only to find herself continuously obtaining a “blue-screen” type prompts causing her to KO continuously. Oh poor tomboyish Hina heh. In desperation Ann brings the calls into the fridge/freezer to cool themselves off. The imbalance is too great that they end up turning into Shinki popsicles, or nearly.

– So hot! I want to clean my Master’s mess but I’m roasting.

– Poor Hina K’O’d by the heatwave while trying to act all tough :P.

– Chyuuuuuuuuu!~

What I love about Japan is how they love being spooked by the supernatural four seasons of the year, no matter the season. Ann and the gang all take a nice spooky Visualizer trip to a haunted local because. They both get spooked by the visualizer and through their own ghost stories…and with a special guest.

Want a similar experience? Go onto the Japanese Playstation account and go into the “Home” program for two haunted spaces. Those entities that scare these Shinkis are similar to those – The Edo Lounge Space to be more specific.

– D’awwww!~ Ann is embarrassed you loved her spooky story. Ann is pleased.


– Aines both cute and scared while Lenes just takes all the scariness in a happy manner. Ann? Freaked out. Hina? Just as pleased as Lene heh.

– “Not to worry..I’m a Shinki, not a ghost.” – Fubuki

Sorry Aines! You lost in Rock-Paper-Scissors, also known as Jan-Ken-Pon. Ya, I know you guys know but hey…just felt like clarifying here. Poor Aines lost with paper and was stuck cleaning the house with spirit-like Fubuki during a sudden thunderstorm. Spooky!

– Fubuki haunting the place like a ghost; Aines! Watch out!
– Weeeeee!~ We need to make an enlarged umbrella and a water-slide similar to this so we can replicate the fun – kon!~



– Oh Rihito, you’re one blessed Shinki Master with loving Shinkis. Look how proud they be. They carried the umbrella to a station and also practiced how they’ll respond when rewarded. Zoom in with that eye of yours Ann!


– Easily embarrassed when it comes to Master and fashion heh.


– “I see Master!” – Ann – “I saw him first!” – Lene – Ann @ Lene: Bah!~



– Thanks to Aines saying certain things over the phone Fubuki scares Aines some more by making it seem she’ll kill Aines. Spooky Boogey~

With fears that Fubuki might be an evil Shinki they all rush to save their precious Aines. However, not without first wrecking the umbrella with the strong gust of wind, damaging the shoes as a result of the first, and then ripping the pants in recovery of the first two. Oh the humanity! Oh the humiliation! Rihito, you’re a slap-stick comical main character! Save yourself while you can!

What about Aines you say? She can fight and defend herself long enough for you to save both yourself and Aines. Now man up and run!

– Misfortune befalls our carefree Master! His umbrella, shoes, and pants all manage to get damaged one after another. Oh the humanity! Pink boxers? *Hides*

– Now that this is sharpened time to display your gorgeous head on this, my dear Aines~. It’s called Art, my dear innocent Aines~.

– Nyaaa? NYAAA!
– “What a beautiful piece of art……Eh?Do you want to know?”

– “Uueeeh!~” – Aines

– The poor Fubuki was found lost/abandoned on the same mountain our 4 Shinki gals found themselves lost at. To those that wondered how the Shinkis got charged up should look at the helmet for a cable being plugged into Fubuki. The helmet’s battery charged them up, and Fubuki. This image looks disturbing that it looks like a sad dog/fox tied up to a fence.

Seeing as how Rihito and the four Shinkis are kind and very helpful, time to assist Fubuki with her problems! That’s what kind neighbors and friends do on a whim!



– “Master, I came to bring this to you” – Fubuki — “Fuki?” – Fuki’s Master — “Master.” – Fuki — “I’m sorry….Fuki…. Welcome back” – Fuki’s Master.
– D’awwwww!~ Fubuki and her Master found their peace. Yay!~ All’s well that ends well! I can’t see much, but what I do see shows Fuki’s master is a beautiful one. I like! Did find it odd how she was wearing a miko outfit.

….Oh wait! Ann, Lene, Aines, and Hina get troubled by another heatwave heh.

While typing this article up I’ve been thinking that Fubuki ‘stole’ that golfing Tee pin from the doll, as with the red ball thing…whatever that was. Also, you know how MaoChao and Howling kept popping up at random? Just like Fubuki right? They could also be neighbors and not “stray” Shinkis. People probably thought of that but it makes more sense when you got Shinkis being bored and going “rogue” by going into other people’s home.

What about charging? Stealing juice from other electronics and even going to Busou Shinki Centers for a free charge. You even saw Zelno share her energy with Fubuki.

– Don’t mind Fubuki, she’s just dropping in with some treats heh…While nearly injuring Aines in the process with the Kunai. A slightly clumsy Fubuki?


– Lene: “Um..Does that mean….” — Ann: “Fubuki’s Master is a.” — Aines: “gh..ghost?”
– “Uh?…..Ya, what of it?” – Fubuki calmy says as she tilts her head in confusion.

Well……..Happy Halloween? 

I’ll admit I did get freaked out with Fubuki going all supernatural and that mention of Fuki’s Master being a ghost. Fitting for a Halloween episode. I want to know the actual conclusion in the next episode! No skipping to the next!

I’m pleased with Fubuki appearing in this episode as well. Having played with her in Battle Rondo, obtaining her as a figure, and playing with her in Battlemasters, she is one lovely Shinki.  Misunderstood or often times misappreciated. Found her to be a lovely Shinki, especially when you can get her to be emotional and less of a formal ninja.

And yes, I’m disappointed Renge and Mizuki didn’t join in on the hauntings.

Another Arnval joins the fun in the a school-like setting from the looks. Shinkis misbehave and continue to behave like children. Ann goes to school for a date!




– Nice Arnval end card. I take it only the seiyuu’s images get used? Sounds fair. I like it and the “concept art” images.
