New Star Wars movie/series – unintentional audio replacement

Well was listening to my friends jam below and was recording the sound from above (better sound above then below) when I saw Star Wars playing on CNN. I took the camera and put it on the new Star Wars commercial before my friends would start playing another tune and when they did it fit the gun clik sound playing exactly to beat. I still can’t get over how perfectly timed this unintentional music playing over the commercial played out.

You probably might not be interested as you weren’t there but if you were you would understand why I’m so up-beat about this.

Gundam RX-79[G] Gundam & Zaku 2 Outdoors – Part 1

Like I did with the three Sabers I took out both my Gundams outsides but to a quieter part (and closer near me) where nobody would give me odd faces or see me. I took Gundam RX-79[G] Gundam (being my favourite Feddie mobile suit) and the Zaku 2 to do some simple fight scenes in a quiet corner near water. I find that grass and water give the pictures a more unique look then simple backyard shots (unless you have a great garden). This was a quicker photo shoot then the previous one so I took being some simple and rushed shots which made me label this Part 1 where I’m going to do it in a park this time so look forward to that.

Saber – Fate/Stay Night figure

Sorry for the delayed message but I finally managed to get on a new server with bigger space and same with the blog. To get back on track I have Saber which I acquired on Thursday, April 17, 2008. She holds two swords in both hands which are removable and she has a black stand without the command symbol. On the packaging and on websites I seen pictures with Emiya’s hand command symbol but it is not on this. Well I got Saber because I thought she could pose but she can’t but that is not a problem since she still looks as good posing for the people and the camera. Since the posting was delayed I can also show you pictures of when I took my Saber figures out to take nature pictures of them to blend into reality.

Part 1 below shows me taking a picture of her in the store if I did not acquire her and the second picture is of her on my desk just looking towards my door. Part one is basically what my original post would of looked like but it has more added towards it. The second part is just my outing with the figures doing a photo shoot. The second part is the more ackward one where people looked at me if I’m hiding my stolen loot, doing porn, or just plain old crazy since I was just moving around behind some trees. I wanted a nice quiet area just to take good nature pictures all the while making the figures stand out beautifuly in the image. Part three is anything I forgot previously like the mini Saber and the Saber keychain. So I like Fate/Stay Night, its a great series.

Myanimelist.net

I’ve been having trouble keeping track and finding out whats what so been keeping track in a notepad I have but that ended up getting very very messy. I also used wikipedia and other anim sources to find out what an anime was all about but myanimelist.net does the job well. Its like facebook (the script), notepad (the list), and wikipedia (for the information) put together with more features. Not tryin to advertise but pointing out to other anime watchers that if they have troubles keeping track of what they watched this site should help you.

Petroglyph and Universe at War: Earth Assault

I’ve been with a fan of Petroglyph since I heard of Star War Empire at War for PC. I then moderated then Admined a forum called Petroglyph Fan Forums. Now I’m a moderator on Petroglyph’s Official Forums. They also made a expansion pack for Empire at War called “Star Wars: Empire at war Forces of Corruption“. Now they’re on their Universe at War: Earth Assault for PC with Sega and Microsoft. As a token of appreciation/respect I got this card and game below with even my name in the moderator section of the credits. Pictures below:

Gundam Models

Late update also. Anyway I got Stargazer Gundam, Zaku II and Doga mobile suit from a Gundam model building hype I had. I got these kits around June 8th and took almost forever to build. I tried to find paint to put on the Zaku II but found no proper ones when I went out. Not many model shops around here so I just gave up. Anyways here are the pictures (lots).

Metal Gear Portable Ops (PSP) & PSP’s Remote Play

Well I haven’t updated this blog in awhile because I didn’t know what the hell to put into it. Oh I know Metal Gear Portable Ops which is now an old game is a fun stealth game. You go around the map recruiting other people to join your team to defeat your enemies. You can have up to 4 people (including Snake) to go around the maps during the Snake Eater Period (Metal Gear Solid 3). I own the 2nd game “Substance” with extra features. Anyways in this game you put troops to sleep then you put them in a truck to me interigated then they will help your team out. After that you can use them in your squad or keep them in your base to specialize in a task. If your bored of the single player you can go online and send your squads out against other squads risking losing or gaining others. Its a fun game however its more for the go kind of game. If I had the PSP slim I would just hook it up to the TV and play it that way or on the go.

Secondly I tried out the Remote Play feature of the PS3 and it kicks ass. I can just turn on my PS3 and PSP clicking clicking remote play on both (with the Ad-hoc switched on) and go around the house instead of sitting in the room. However it does have its limits since you can’t play the games nor can you go far but you can display the Folding@Home (Scientific cell crunching application). I can go on the internet with the PSP while in Remote play and also having access to the media such as Pictures, music and videos. Hope theres more PS3 and PSP co-operation down the road.

More anime stuff

Well the more I watch the more I get into it. Recently I got Death Note part 3 and waiting for part 2 to come in. I also got Saber in her non-combat outfit and 2 posters. Death Note keychain book is cool also so here are the pics. I also got the new anime manga called Claymore after seeing the first episode of the anime series. Its amazing.

Playstation 3 & Anime

Well I got my PS3 on March 16th and bought Gundam:Crossfire with it. The price with warranty went straight into $1000 Canadian, insane but for the free software the price shall balance itself out soon. On that same day I also got a Death Note manga first part which is actually pretty cool and stopped at Chapter 2. The PS3 was my B-day gift for the 28th so might as well get it early then have to find out its been sold (safe then sorry) and i’m waiting for Sony’s service called “Home”. I’m using this new program which plays with proteins and when a task is done it is sent back to some a University. Pretty helpful for health Science and lets see Xbox 360 compete with that :p

Back to the Death Note Manga, It sure follows the anime closely and it must if the anime was based on it. Gonna get more when I can so I might as well finish this at my own pace. I saw a Saber figure in the anime shop that I’ve tried to get before but I only went in there for my manga. The figure was $40 CAD. Next time I guess.

Death Note Products

Well I did say I was going to buy products at my local Anime Stop and more so on MSN Messenger. Well I did go there luckily but they did not have the Death Note 1-2,4-6,8-9 but I ordered the first one. So I got the Death Note, 2 posters, a feather pen, a soundtrack with the book, an “L” keychain, and a mouse pad. I’m just friggin amazed at how popular this anime is and its not even finished airing in Japan. Well the 2 movies are and mangas but not the anime itself. Took Fate/Stay Night forever to reach the Anime Stop and now its gone again except for the DVDs. I saw Elfen Lied and Haruhi Suzumiya there also with lots of Bleach, Gundam and Naruto. I see i’m turning into an anime Otaku.
