Figma/Grail War – Winter Malice

Thought I’d bring back the “Figma/Grail War” in another “experiment” to see if I can take this slightly further. With winter quickly turning into Spring posing figures outdoors should be much easier as fingers won’t numb out as quickly, heh. I also dislike posing figures indoors and would rather use the natural scenery outdoors then fake ones.

Winterlude 2010 – Rideau Canal

The final article about Winterlude 2010. This time I went to check out the Rideau Canal as I forgot to do so on my first visit. I of course missed out on the most important part of Winterlude – skating on the longest skating rink in the world, the Rideau Canal. Up for some Beaver tails or a simple skate?

I consider this a lucky shot ^. I love it how Canada can keep some form of historical value to its modern image.

Winterlude 2010 – Gatineau

This is a part two of the Winterlude 2010 article viewing the Gatineau region – “Ville de Gatineau”, the French half of the Ottawa region. Winterlude 2010 – Ottawa

Winterlude, an event celebrated every winter during the month of February. Sculptures from around the world gather within Canada, Ottawa to show off their ice carving skills.  One of the many locations dealing with Winterlude is Confederation Park in Downtown Ottawa. This will be part 1 as I didn’t get my Beaver tail and because there are more places with Winterlude related material.

Season’s Greetings – 2009 -> 2010

Thought I’d add one last article before the 2009 concludes, turning into the year 2010. Also, as I missed out on last year’s Christmas spirit I took twice as many images as I normally would in a two part article from  Taffy Lane and the Parliament Building itself. Hope you enjoy the super article that contains 58 images to ease the blog’s happy atmosphere to the year 2010.

Ice’n Gundam

Hello again, and hope you guys and gals had a nice Christmas. Did any of you lurkers obtain what you desired or were you one of those in the lengthy line at the return’s counter to return stuff? ^^ I’m pleased with what I got. Currently playing Gundam Senki UC 0081 and haven’t stopped playing it ever since I got it as a gift. For those who had a good or bad day within the nation’s capital obtained some rain as an interesting gift from Mother Nature. Freezing rain/ice pellets arrived during boxing day and created a slight mess. Some people I talked to said it was similar to that Ice storm of 1998, just not as bad.

Go For Sushi! Part 2

I had a massive craving for Sushi for a full week or two and wanted to satisfy it. Grocery store Sushi? Nah, doesn’t hit the spot and they tend to expire faaar too quickly. Just “Go for Sushi“  in Ottawa, located down  on Merivale Road. Sadly I don’t know of any good Sushi shops outside of Ottawa, except for those within Slovakia, Bratislava.

Wacom Bamboo Tablet – Small

Thats right, I acquired a new tablet. I used to draw simplistic doodles, back in ’08 winter, on my sketchpad disliking how my pencils always snapped on me. I wouldn’t have obtained a tablet if I haven’t seen the art and Illust studio Denkikoiji showed me. Priorities when having a certain amount of funds to spend, heh.

And hopefully this isn’t the weather I’ll be seeing all winter……
