Lying to one’s self – Figure photography

Hey guys, I felt like letting loose some thoughts that may or may not be necessary on my blog. I’ve witnessed numerous individuals denying themselves of the things they desire so highly, even with silly excuses. Especially those into Anime figures, games, and the like. If one is truly interested in something then they shall proudly display their interests without hesitation. What’s stopping you?

Busou Shinki – Moon Angel – Anime

Hey guys! Today I thought I’d quickly cover the Anime, it’s OP’s, issues with Battle Rondo and Diorama studio along with some rambling. Hope you don’t mind? Well, lets get cracking! Might want some earplugs if I start rambling on :P. Depending on how these episodes release and how I blog I may try and review each anime short.

Why figures and which do you prefer?

Hello guys! I thought I’d try my hands at another rambling & opinions articles to say why I love my figures, and why they’re awesome. I’m not doing a vs Figma or Shinki, but a simple comparisons to show why I like them and how I got into them.  So, why do I like my figures? Also, if you want,  you may consider this article a continuation  of – My History with Anime.

Gran Turismo 5 – Review & Photoshoot.

Hello again!
I wanted to share Gran Turismo 5 with you this time just because I like this kind of game, and the previous versions. It’s a tad bit late, but probably still a good time to personally review it now that I got a PS3 that can play this lovely game! First PS3 yellow lighted on me – 60 gig PS3 (2006/7-2010?). The game also released some times around December and received around 6 big patches, which could be considered DLC.

IL-2 1946 Sturmovik & J7W1 Shinden

I just feel like flying for these past few days and weeks that I picked up IL-2 1946 Sturmovik. I obtained IL-2 from Steam for just $10 CAD (Canadian), and been wanting to play it for the past 2-3 years. I’m also pretty sure that the majority of people already have this within their possession. I’ve been holding off  on this because of Flight Sim X, Figma’s, Shinki’s, life, and because I couldn’t find the hard-copy. Also, this article isn’t purely aimed at the IL-2 1946 game, but the the J7W1 Shinden itself. I wanted to focus on the Shinden.

I have to thank Kodama within the IL-2 modding community for this gorgeous plane!

Figma Mirai – Culture Japan

I spy with my little eye something that is….Orange & white, has a “d” logo, and with a name that means future. Who could that be? Danny choo’s mascot – Mirai! I’ve obtained my Figma Mirai from J-List. Why not? Everybody else seemed to have went with AmiAmi but eh…let’s create our own unique path!

My Favorite Anime – Top 7 – Round 5

Hello again! As I long decided that this would be bi-monthly, I didn’t want to miss out on ruining the bi-monthly bit of this which would of turned this into a tri-monthly thing. Well, what other Animes are worth watching that I can recommend? There are some Anime airing this season, and that I’m watching that I want to highly recommend. I can’t because I haven’t completed them. I’ve been itching to add them, but resisting. I already did mention quite a few that were awesome, so what else is there? Half are going to oldies so I hope you don’t ignore them because they aged!

Battle Rondo – Nostalgia Time-Capsule

Let’s Battle! I shall be upping more images to show more from the Battle Rondo because I just wanted to share some Rondo images with you guys & gals. They contain some memories that I want to remember everytime I visit back to my own blog for nostalgia purposes. Also, to check how far I progress with my Shinkist. So far, I’ve been having fun trying to raise my crazy little desktop battle-bots with their various amusing expressions.

My Favorite Anime – Top 7 – Round 4 – Kitsunes

Kon! Kon! Because it’s March, an epic one at that, we’ll have a “kitsune” themed top seven. When March is epic we need some lovely fox spirits to accompany the epicness of it! If you’re a “kitsune” minion then these should interest those viewing Anime relating to fox spirits, foxes, or wolves using similar traits to fox myths/folklore. Now lets see the slyness of our foxy friends! These are the ones I chose as the best for this month

My History with Anime

Ah, guess it’s about time I sum up my past with Anime into Nopy’s project. Off to show how I got influenced and why I like Anime to the point that I do. It seems like a nice way of seeing what and how people got influenced by Anime and why they like what they like. Noby’s Project here: http://nopybot.com/2011/02/22/my-history-with-anime/

Do be warned! I’ll be rambling quite a bit as I’m digging back quite a bit into my past!

The Hidden Life of Figures

Hello! I thought I’d offer up a tutorial article for those new to the figure photoshoot scene, or those simply struggling to brainstorm ideas. Article also doubles as explanation to those those unfamiliar with Anime and figures. I’m basically going to mention ways you can guess or form a personality for figures for your comics, photoshoots, stop motion, or whatever else you might be planning to do and what you might be able to use them for. This also comes from studying other people’s comics and articles.

Note: If you see some obvious points being made, or explained, then it’s because of me explaining what this is about to those unfamiliar with bringing figures to life.

Happy 4th anniversary Arctic Kitsune! Me? No, no! I simply rode on  that name (and still am) because it’s easier to share/link back with other fellow bloggers and friends. Ghostly Substance? I ditched that username as well.  *coughs* What a time to celebrate Varkitsu’s birthday on Valentines day haha. More love for him then!
