Winterlude, an event celebrated every winter during the month of February. Sculptures from around the world gather within Canada, Ottawa to show off their ice carving skills. One of the many locations dealing with Winterlude is Confederation Park in Downtown Ottawa. This will be part 1 as I didn’t get my Beaver tail and because there are more places with Winterlude related material.
Obtained another Figma and its Saber again. I tried to obtain her before from Play-Asia but they never did send me Saber, nor Shiro. Its probably due to the number of people pre-ordering or similar. This is my 8th Saber in my Fate/Stay night collection that are on two shelves in two glass cabinets; third Figma.
My first real photo-shoot with my Figma’s in the Canadian cold weather. Took Shana and Saber on a winter exploration just to see how they would fair in the Canadian winter weather, freezing along the way. Creative opportunities are vast for photo-shooting while posing them can be a bit troublesome with the winter cold and the fluffy snow.
Thought I’d add one last article before the 2009 concludes, turning into the year 2010. Also, as I missed out on last year’s Christmas spirit I took twice as many images as I normally would in a two part article from Taffy Lane and the Parliament Building itself. Hope you enjoy the super article that contains 58 images to ease the blog’s happy atmosphere to the year 2010.
Hello again, and hope you guys and gals had a nice Christmas. Did any of you lurkers obtain what you desired or were you one of those in the lengthy line at the return’s counter to return stuff? ^^ I’m pleased with what I got. Currently playing Gundam Senki UC 0081 and haven’t stopped playing it ever since I got it as a gift. For those who had a good or bad day within the nation’s capital obtained some rain as an interesting gift from Mother Nature. Freezing rain/ice pellets arrived during boxing day and created a slight mess. Some people I talked to said it was similar to that Ice storm of 1998, just not as bad.
What is white and cold, dark and illuminated, silent and cheerful, fluffy and pointy, grinchy and generous? A cold winter night with bright illuminations hanging off tree’s and balconies with people sharing gifts as people forgive others for their sins. Its the time for sharing and giving and to celebrate Jesus’s birth! Hope you guys are having a nice fun jolly Christmas Celebration!
Kidou Senshi Gundam, an Asian version (though still essentially Japanese) import of the Gundam game. This is another one of my late gets as I was simply briefly awaiting a North American announcement, sadly with no news as of yet. Hmm? This package seems slightly bigger then normal?
Today I shall be reviewing Figma Meiya Mitsurugi. I have acquired her at my local Anime store and so far am pleased by both the box and how she appears within the box.
Merry Pre-Christmas! I know Christmas decorations were being prepared as early as early September but I thought I’d show you some quick images of some Christmas decorations being hastily prepared onto store shelves.
