Early Spring photoshoot

Hyello again, enjoying the spring like weather? Oh, you don’t get winter? For those of us that do have to experience 4 seasons instead of two; Spring, summer, fall, winter. Spring is nice since you see things become light green, cool light brown, Cherry Blossom pink, Apple tree bright red and etc. Now I’m just being a smart-ass and stating the obvious so we shall move on.

I haven’t seen any greens yet, but I have noticed the bike path becoming nice and clear for distant biking. I’ve noticed tons of birds coming back and a few bugs popping about (shudders at the thought of centipedes running through his room).

While trying to take pictures of a bird, it started flying at the last moment when the camera was focusing and getting ready for the high quality image part. It mocked me and my camera!

January’s Christmas Decoration & new comp

Ya, I know its late for this and early to show it for next Christmas, but I thought I’d post it since its wet snowing here.  Should make for a nice wrapping up collection of winter images and start up with some nice light green spring scenery.

(Click the link under the image for fullsized view, will open in a new window/tab.

New computer woot! Acquired it last Satrday (March 14) and showing it off today.  Better access to things and I can finally make better quality “music” with the help of FL-Chan (Fruity loops 8). My previous computer had fried USB ports so I couldn’t post things as swiftly, reason why your seeing this late.

Spring walk – Figma Shana

Nice day for a walk I must say, though a bit windy, it was warm with spring coming around. I should remind you to watch your step as it can get pretty icy around here. It always ends up getting swampy like and turns to ice (not everywhere of course). Oh and if your lurking, Shana makes a quick appearance. My camera ended up running out of juice so I had to head back.

So without further ado, here are some pictures from Canada, Ottawa with a nice lovely sky.

Snow storm?

Woke up today and was greeted by a nice pile of white snow blanketing everything. It was so white that I was caught off guard, and because of the fog created by the snow. I rushed to take a pictures every few moments and here (December snows are the best) and got one when two trucks and a back end loader were shoveling a parkinglot.

Like with any other Canadian snow fall, you have to keep shoveling 20 times a day to keep your driveway clean and it severly pisses people off. The sidewalk plows seemed to cleaned this out earlier, but it was all in vain.

Quick winter walk

Well a few people were requesting images of how it looks up here with the snow so I decided to take a few images (3).

I went out and it was still a nice sunny day, three planes in the same part of the sky, and a very very chilly day. I saw some rabbit tracks and tried to look for a nice clean portion (along a fence) to take a picture of it.

(Link – MySite)

I walked a bit further trying to find any other cleaner and untouched bits of snow. At this point, even staying out 10 minutes would cause me to freeze if your not properly bundled up. The more I walked the more I could see rabbit tracks (like the above image) and people’s foot prints along the line where the bike path goes.

I would walk further and take more pictures of the famous Canadian snow, but I had no figures with me and it was causing me to get very chilly at this point. I headed back and noticed the bright moon in the clear cold sky.

Funny how theres little to no clouds in the sky when its obviously cold out (or warm). Though I can’t complain since I like seeing sunny days :). And so much for bringing out my figures for a photoshoot, they where short skirts or light clothing.

Anime Withdrawal and Fever Symptoms

Anime withdrawal, it happens. What its official community known name isn’t known to me. I do call it a Anime Withdrawal. There is also Anime fever for short term obsessions.

Well, when we like something a lot we tend to dwell in it deep and try to explore every corner of it right? We dwell so much in a single area of our liking that we tend to get “withdrawal” symptoms  when we’re done with the certain something. It’s something were you can’t keep your mind off such an area for an extended period of time. I have felt the symptoms of Anime Withdrawal were I wanted to watch anime but couldn’t due to traveling, cultural, “real-life situations” and various other scenarios. All I could do was talk and think about Anime (even in non-anime areas), or just adapt to the new scenario/location.

Disclaimer: Everything I said is generalized or simplified so it can be listed with ease. Some things may not even be accurate because we each experience these symptoms differently and some things maybe confused or forgotten. Sources? Myself, other people, various sites and you guys/gals. I listed everything with what I experienced.

Figma Kanu Unchou get

Went to the anime store today and went to see if they had a decent (new) selection of Figmas. I searched and examined any figures that caught my attention and none really did. I made sure I didn’t miss anything so I looked behind a few figures also and acquired Figma Kanu and one of those Good Smile trading figures. I got Rin in one of her running with a dagger pose and is a pain to put together.

(Click the links under images, opens in a new window/tab)

Well I decided to show my other Figma partners my other Figma to the club. Haruhi was annoyed at being one of those “innocent” types while Konata makes a eroge game comment. Kanu couldn’t wait out of the box….Oh and ya she is back to her normal self again after that “chilling” walk.

Figma Haruhi wants to explore

Well I got bored and decided to take the image of the little snow on the ground before it fully melts. I was about to go Figmaless but took Haruhi out since shes the easiest to pose with and my current fav figma. I was in a rush that I didn’t think about taking Haruhi’s spare parts since I only wanted to take pictures of the little snow around.

So I looked for a patch of snow that was similar to the November 18th, 2008 snowfall and heres a good example.

October 7th, 2008 – Petroloot

Well I see I was tardy with this blog, but I had catching up to do since I was in Europe. For starters I won a Petroglyph Mousepad which I’ll be adding to my collection. I collect Anime, Ferrari, and Petroglyph object so it goes into my collection well.

I gained the below item by entering myself into a Petroglyph Cave contest drawing. I drew this map. (Warning: Your eyes may bleed.)

Here is the mentioned item:

2 new Lucky Star Figmas

Well I wanted to finally get my Figma Saber and I had enough for a Figma Miku so I headed to my local Anime store while I had the chance. Since I arrived on Sunday, September 21, 2008 I finally had the chance to go to the anime store, by bus. When I arrived I saw Figma Haruhi (already have), Figma Mikuru (I need), and Figma Yuki Nagato (Which I also need) on the rack. I asked if there were anymore Figmas and the lady said yes, pointing to a recently new pile of figures that came in just today (Wednesday, September 24, 2008). I then checked which ones interested me and took two.
