Hello again, time to dust this off again and dry up any wet spots after the constant downpour in my area. I decided to get a bike again and see what I could snap images of this time around.
Not much happened except for me obtaining two wall scrolls, playing games, and sitting out the rain a few times. Still have yet to do a photoshoot for my two new figmas that I obtained a few weeks back. The constant rain killed my interest in anything figure related.

Below image is of the Ottawa River from the bike path inbetween Britannia Beach and Andrew Haydon park. For a river it looks more like a lake the more I seem to eye it.

Hello again, thought I’d update this again. Tardy, I know, but I was playing infamous and welcoming a guest from Europe.
So todays topic is Canada Day and the Emperor of Japan visiting Canada, especially Ottawa. First up, Canada Day! For those looking for Figma images there will be none in this one. Was too busy biking around with a friend, lol.

Above image shows that Canada day could of been rainy but instead decided to go in everybody’s favor. You can still see the darkness of the clouds over the War Museum in Ottawa.
On my way to Best buy me and someone else noticed a Sushi shop where another restaurant used to be. How many of you within Ottawa go for sushi, or similar? I remember making regular visits to Chinese restaurants and buffets. The first Japanese Sushi I officially noticed (since I wasn’t a Japanese influenced person in the past) within the city was the one within the downtown Ottawa region. A similar one to that is closer to my neighborhood and adds another 5-10 minutes to my 20 minute bike ride to the Anime shop.

Guess the Sushi.
Crap, I’m slacking. Well, I got another Figma and this time its the Summer Haruhi version. From the looks of it I shall be taking this Haruhi around a lot. Being a summer type Figma, I also attempted to try out a new way of photo shooting my figures for a “review” (being more of an overview then a review – Saber Lily being the review).

And yes, $44 Canadian dollars…..I’m staring at one of my Figma boxes that says $39.99 CAD. Recession, it sucks either way; real or fake. Also forgot to mention I acquired my first Fate/Stay Night manga, woo! Now I just got to get around to reading it. If you haven’t guessed yet Fate/Stay night is one of my favorite Anime series and what got me into being an Anime view/watcher/otaku (whatever you want to call it).
Another great day meaning another great time to take pictures of the local wildlife, as with figmas. This time I decided to bring Figma Rin to see what kind of images I could end up taking by bringing her along.
Well, I missed out on the Ottawa Tulip festival since I forgot when it was going to take place with me currently cursing that I have missed it. So much for looking at the Japanese tent this year :(. Ah well, there is always next year and more events to go to, right?
Before I go on about it, I thought I’d point out some kick ass Pockies that I found interesting again. The Almond type biscuit sticks that I found yesterday in the local Asian store on the other side of Ottawa. Also a teaser image to the next Figma I got that I will eventually do a photoshoot of, Figma #024 if your curious.

A review of the next Figma will come soon 🙂

Excuse the lack of a better post title, heh.

Another beautiful day means another set of great images from the vast open great white green northern nation of Canada. Each week passes meaning a better and greener scenery around the city as well as the nation, woo! This time I brought Haruhi around for the bike ride but wasn’t too sure were to take images so excuse the lack of Figma images.
I see I haven’t blogged in awhile. Lets create a new entry then with my bike ride along the Ottawa river, with my new bike. Sadly I didn’t bring any Anime figures this time around since I just wanted to get used to my new bike and finally check out the Spring scenery around. Though since this is a gaming and anime oriented blog for Ottawa, I’ll get some in the next article.
Lets start off with some ducks, shall we?

Sorry, no Anime on this one until I can get a new bike, or tune my old bike (*hears a cheer from the non-Japanese minded lurkers*). I’m still waiting for the spring bloom before I also try to Figure photoshoot as to make the images look nicer, but the plants are lagging behind for some odd reason. I see the animals are coming back, the grass is going green, and the insects coming out gradually.
I haven’t yet shown the Ottawa River rapids have I? Here is one of them that I tried taking pictures of. Its just cool to look at, and theres a cooler one closer to downtown that I’ll take a picture of later.
(Note: I didn’t shrink the full sized images so they’re going to appear large when to full screen them.)

Wow, here I was prepared to see light green scenery but I was wondering why the trees wouldn’t bloom yet. They’re used to the weather so I guess they can predict whats going to happen next. Either that or I must of been worshipping the Arctic Fox a bit too much……

Hyello again, enjoying the spring like weather? Oh, you don’t get winter? For those of us that do have to experience 4 seasons instead of two; Spring, summer, fall, winter. Spring is nice since you see things become light green, cool light brown, Cherry Blossom pink, Apple tree bright red and etc. Now I’m just being a smart-ass and stating the obvious so we shall move on.
I haven’t seen any greens yet, but I have noticed the bike path becoming nice and clear for distant biking. I’ve noticed tons of birds coming back and a few bugs popping about (shudders at the thought of centipedes running through his room).
While trying to take pictures of a bird, it started flying at the last moment when the camera was focusing and getting ready for the high quality image part. It mocked me and my camera!

Wow, where have the months, weeks and days gone? Last time I checked it was March 9ths, then 15th, 20th, and now 28th. Twenty two already, wow.
Thanks to Valdez for this “Post-card” lol.

I’ll edit in any new events into this blog entry (if any) and shall get a banner made tonight or tomorrow for those who asked for it :). If you don’t see anything past this mark then nothing interesting worth blogging about happened.
Ya, I know its late for this and early to show it for next Christmas, but I thought I’d post it since its wet snowing here. Should make for a nice wrapping up collection of winter images and start up with some nice light green spring scenery.

New computer woot! Acquired it last Satrday (March 14) and showing it off today. Better access to things and I can finally make better quality “music” with the help of FL-Chan (Fruity loops 8). My previous computer had fried USB ports so I couldn’t post things as swiftly, reason why your seeing this late.

Nice day for a walk I must say, though a bit windy, it was warm with spring coming around. I should remind you to watch your step as it can get pretty icy around here. It always ends up getting swampy like and turns to ice (not everywhere of course). Oh and if your lurking, Shana makes a quick appearance. My camera ended up running out of juice so I had to head back.
So without further ado, here are some pictures from Canada, Ottawa with a nice lovely sky.

Woke up today and was greeted by a nice pile of white snow blanketing everything. It was so white that I was caught off guard, and because of the fog created by the snow. I rushed to take a pictures every few moments and here (December snows are the best) and got one when two trucks and a back end loader were shoveling a parkinglot.
Like with any other Canadian snow fall, you have to keep shoveling 20 times a day to keep your driveway clean and it severly pisses people off. The sidewalk plows seemed to cleaned this out earlier, but it was all in vain.
