I liked this episode actually. This one is however still short, but I do like it. Seeing Tempesta being visually and physically impressive just made this episode worth watching. Though, Tsubasa should of used some protective shielding. Improvise! But what is done is done.

Also amazing what you can find in images with the things you missed when watching the video.

Episode Break-Down:

– Something or someone provoked Arnval’s Tempesta’s form into activation. From what we noticed previously her form only activates when her system is under stress or when being provoked. Here, Arnval appears to be shocked by some….person or entity.

– All hell breaks lose and Straf is tasked with containing Arnval/Tempesta. All the shots fired were deflected or did no damage what-so-ever. All wasted.

– Tempesta, looking both awesome and bad-ass, goes into pure (digital) instinct mode. All she is following is her digital instinct through by obtaining her gear and eliminating her threats. There is no thoughts, no emotions…..just pure desire to get rid of whatever lays in her path eh? I can now see why she would make for a good weapon on the battlefield.

– All the researchers are at a loss for words. They seem pretty useless, and seem to lack training in detaining rogue Shinkis. They’re simply gasping in shock without attempting to call in security, Shinki guards, prototype guards, or something. Either that, or they’re relying heavily on Straf to contain the madness.

– Both Tsubasa and Ken waltz in after making their way through the sewer. Surprisingly, they don’t have an intact banana peal, apples, or any other sewer-like traces from the facility’s sewer line. State-of-the-art clean Japanese sewers? I’ll just pretend that they walked through the service walkways which are always a few inches higher than the sewage on either side of the tunnel.

– I can’t help but get caught up in the beauty of Tempesta’s appearance. She’s going rogue, her poses expressing both beauty and brutality, and her hair….simply beautiful. I’ll go ahead and assume Konami tried to slip in a subtle reference to a (type) “Fallen angel”. Probably obvious, but I’ll re-mention it for those new to the Busou Shinki line.

– Tsubasa mindlessly ran towards a rogue Tempesta (Still Kaguya) who instantly and instinctively shoots at, what she thinks is, a hostile Tsubasa. Ken obviously tried to stop him but Tsubasa was more focused on rescuing her. Of course, Tsubasa gets hit by one of the real ammunition on the cheek from her. Ouch! He shrugs it off and ends up being shocked by what seems like a defense system for Kaguya. The pain…….oh the pain……..

– Remember an episode back where Tsubasa was holding a gift for Arnval while searching for her? Right after a dad and daughter left Tsubasa alone due to fear? Well, Tsubasa carefully removed the head-gear and placed it onto a now semi-calm Tempesta. Also with the way Tempesta isn’t fighting back proves that she is being motivated through digital instinct to protect herself.

– The head-gear snaps Arnval into her more natural self, allowing her to be happily re-united with her new Master. Both have their moment allowing Ken to catch lost air in Tsubasa’s silly haste. However, their moment is up once the giant “egg” exploded with activity….Same face re-appears, this time meaning business.

Just two more episodes two review. I’m aware I’ve been, and am, lagging behind but we’re near the end anyways. I don’t want to see it end again. I want more episodes! Quite sad it was short in both ways – episode length and the number of episodes.

Until next time – Peace!
