Busou Shinki TV – Episode 11

Hello again fellow Busou Shinki fans! Time to enjoy a Hina-filled episode and epicness! We finally get to see some tournament style combat and Moon Angel-esque conflict.

With the end coming near we are finally being treated with the seriousness Busou Shinki fans have been waiting for. Hina’s arc unleashes seriousness, and the type of atmosphere us Busou Shinki fans have been expecting. For those that dropped out or haven’t picked up Busou Shinki truly are missing out on some Busou Shinki goodness. This episode is quite rewarding!

In surprise for Hina, the gals and Clara all try to secretly try to plan out a birthday party (or just a party) for Hina. However, Hina being the awesome Shinki that she is ninja’s her way into the meeting room, eavesdropping on their plan. The plan later eventually switches to Clara for her Busou Shinki Cup tournament. If you can’t surprise Hina then you might as well surprise Clara in return heh.


*Insert sinister ideas for a sinister plan with an angelic touch.*



– “Um? Hina is right behind you?”



Now it’s just a mini-party! XD

We finally get our antagonist of the story – a rich and possibly overly spoiled bastard (good at hiding it) while owning a Valona and a Strarf unit. This rich person is fixated on Hina so much that he pushes his Shinkis onto Hina in a nice calm and clever way. With that flag triggered we can expect serious stuff happening similar to Moon Angel and Battle Rondo’s boss.

Lemon or Mint? Which should Lene choose? Also, that hamster lol! Also, thanks to Lene’s clumsiness Hina finds a letter mentioning Hina being a “monitor” shinki. Not sure if I picked this up right due to me watching the raw but Hina was supposed to keep tabs on Rihito and to greet him into the Busou Shinki combat world.

Also, even though Hina is all so serious she is also “gullible”. She seems to trust other Shinkis without any real problem which gets her into a whole lot of trouble later.

Oh Rihito, what will we do with you….You seem to be the careless type. Rush to school!


And off they go to the Shinki cup stadium! Also, scene recycle from the Okinawa flight episode.

The image in the top right – I spy Baby Razz, two Benios, Wafflebunny, Partio, Juvisy, and the Type Centaur Shinki. Love it how they get their own little preparation room for the battles. Got to look nice for the battles.

Bottom: Got to surprise and motivate Clara to win a battle! That embarrassed face of hers heh. Also, Howling and Mao-Chao both up to some comical silliness.



– Ach and Yda are ready to fight for their virtual master! You heard them! They are now under the command of a virtual master most likely most likely at a MMS Shinki Shop.

– Zelnograd and Fubuki join in on the fun! Careful Ines, Fubuki nearly damaged you before the fight – Kon!~

– Each Shinki needed a Master so Fubuki brought her Master….in ghost form. As nice as that is, it is also creepy scary. I’ll let you process that thought so you can feel scared as well.


– Welcome to the official Busou Shinki MMS cup! I spy Renge and Kohiru in the above monitor! YES! RENGE! HAHA! VICTORY!
– Let’s look at this properly! Three Renges, Three Kohiru’s for me and a Gabrine used by a fellow blogger up in the top left. VICTORY! I know Renge appeared in Lene’s savior episode but I couldn’t get a shot of her. This image does Renge more justice 🙂 My only wish now is to see Renge fight a proper legit battle, from start to finish and win. I’m not greedy, I just know what I want 😛

– Victoria vs Clara – Should be an interesting match up.



– Ouch! Clara just got de-winged. One sided fight so far. Good thing there are guns here!

– NOOOOOO!~ Clara!

– Victoria being a bad-ass Strarf unit while also showing off by destroying the gun-turrets.


– With Clara triggering the visualizer off some live-missiles fly across the arena. It wasn’t part of the arena because well…..look at their expression. Hina to the rescue!


– According to plan!

With that, has the MMS Cup postponed, cancelled, or is it still going? Also, Valona is also doing most of the dirty work with her “innocent” and/or cute appearance. She calmly converses with Hina and questions her.

Awww! Hina got scratched up from those rogue missiles.



Valona fishing for more information while her Master observes from afar with Victoria. Things turning Nasty using innocence.

– There, there! Not your fault Clara, you were up against the antagonist. You’ll do better when you don’t face story-driven characters wearing plot-shields. Drink up for now!



– Poor Hina. Her concerns opens her up to being easily decieved by her sister – Valona & another Strarf unit. She’s being open to the wrong Shinkis.





– Unknown to Hina, she just bit onto an invisible fishing-hook casted out by the rich-plotting Master. Howling and Mao-Chao! Go contact Ann and the gang! NOW!

– Oh wow! Clara and Lene both got drunk off of the Lemon Nitro drink. Wait for it…….

– Lene’s system is rejecting the lemon nitro juice! She’s going to puke! Evacuate the area! XD



– Go ahead. Let’s search for your serial number to see if you are Roseta. I’m going to have to ask – What is with all those cradles? Preview also showed none.


– Delete Hina’s memory? I say no!….STOP!….God damn it! They clicked yes 🙁

Oh wow! This show turned serious in a Moon Angel and Battle Rondo way! Glad the show inserted another tournament style battle but again. It ended in a similar way to what Moon Angel had with Zelnograd getting damaged by a rogue Tempesta while here we go missiles going rogue. Things getting nasty now that 8-Bit Studios and Konami placed the antagonist card.

Hina’s arc is also quite predictable, in the manner that it brought the serious stuff to the table. I’m not saying that is a bad thing because we Shinki fans wanted that! I want to see where this ends up, even if we know Hina will be used to fight against Ann, Clara, Lene, and Ines. I think I know what those cradles are used for as well – blank bodies shown in the preview. Did you notice the same scene had zero cradles in the ep 10 preview?

Also, thank you 8-Bit Studio for adding Renge! Three of them at that! I’m also glad you added her in Lene’s savior episode. Much appreciated!

– Episode 12 – Preview:

Time to rescue Hina from her captures! Sadly, Hina won’t know she is being rescues because her memories were erased. Time to break into a rich guy’s fortress to free her from her captures! Can’t wait!
